i think now still don't have any actual review on new GTX 1080/1070, all just rumor, lolz, need to see hows the actual performance for 1070 and 1080

i think maybe
1070 = 980 or maybe 5% more performance
1080 = 980 ti or maybe 5% more performance
*
nah son...
if you follow Nvidia performance since GTX 400, you'll realise that the next GTX X70 will be the same or better than the previous highest performance card
GTX 570 = or > GTX 480
GTX 670 = or > GTX 580
GTX 770 = or > GTX 680
GTX 970 = or > GTX 780 Ti

safe to assume that GTX 1070 = or > GTX 980 Ti, plus both Nvidia and AMD are moving to 16nm and 14nm respectively from 28nm
(all speculations based on evidences, don't come barking back at me if u sold your 980 Ti and my speculation is wrong, ppl... sweat.gif )

Just curious, any difference between the "black" version and other normal reference blower? One things for sure, the black colour makes it more bad ass! hehehe... smile.gif

Just to confirm the card is it refurbished? Because i can't find any details from oversea websites, it could be only sold in Malaysia?
I saw the cooler actually was titan x cooler with 'GTX980Ti' sticker on it.

My reg shop told me it is actually a hydro cooled model, reclocked to reference in a "new" case. In any case, there's 5 years warranty with it. At RM2699 and redeemable The Division, it's a good deal to me.

Thinking to trying Nvidia after using ATI for last 3 upgrade. Just wondering how the brands go for nvidia side?

eg. Sapphire and powercolor are the cheaper ones for ATI.
I know Leadtek used to be premium nvidia but doesnt saw much nowadays.

Green team is covered by Asus, MSI, Gigabyte, Zotac, EVGA, Gainward etc. Asus seems to be the most expensive of the lot.

Of course all just rumors, one can only speculate for now. Nothing official.

As for performance, I think you might be mistaken, as comparing say, the 780 Ti vs. 980 Ti

...one can deduce that the performance for 1070/1080 over previous cards would be much higher than 5%.

No bashing please (I am #TeamGreen after all)

AMD's Polaris will be a mainstream GPU, not high-end

"Full details on AMD's Polaris graphics cards are expected at Computex at the end of May, while Nvidia is expected to reveal details on its Pascal graphics architecture around the same time."

That's as credible a source as you can get, short of the card makers themselves
