Congrats!!! we are suffering with the knocking sound since received the car from day 1.

I'm new owner just otr few days. So far I don't have such problem. May I know when the knocking sound happen to you? My house area quite many bump and pass thru it no problem and pretty quiet.

How you drive and test the sound?

Mine is J too an original 185/55/R15 quiet good compare City S type just gave you 175/55/15 only. Unless you upgrade 16" become 195/50/16 will better. Similar with high spec TRD type.

Yours is not 3rd Gen?

3rd Gen came with 185/60/R15 tyres and TRD also using the same size, we don't have the 16" TRD for 3rd Gen in Malaysia.

No. TRD still using 15" rim with same 185/60/R15.

Eventually although the design looks nicer but because of the darker color to me it looks smaller than other specs lol.

Design wise I prefer: TRD rim > J/E rim > G rim

TRD rim with 16" 195/50/R16 size will definitely looks perfect.

In Thailand high spec all with blackening alloy 16" wheels. Malaysia always lowest or less features.

Hermm.. dont think so, I at first thought after change from 15' to 17' will reduce the acceleration by a lot, but actually it's not obvious at all.. it noticable but not horrible..

Original size for 15' from factory is 185/60/15, so by using 195/55/15 is still smaller then factory..
My advice try use 195/50/16, this size being used by vios singapore with 16' rims.. the diameter rim with tyre is the same as 15' rim with tyre.. so u still can use stock suspension

About 2 weeks ago I minorly rear ended a car.

Poor thing is, my front bumper Ada crack sikit near the logo. My logo also sudah jatuh mana entah. Now I even notice my front hood at the drivers side is slightly (like really slightly but because of my OCD..😖) tilted up leaving noticeable gap

Guys, did you realised when after rain on wet road you pass over bump got squeezing noise?
