its just simple wiring bro.. no problem.. just double check the wiring that's all..
the only concern is if the airbag from other steering can function or not because this only can be inspect by toyota technician, the connection is simple..
*
Open & install easy. Once accident claim, insurance can cancel your policy claim due to modification safety equipment. Better think before decide bro.

Owh.. then that is another story..
As for installation dont have much problem, but as for insurance claim MAYBE they didn't notice because its toyota steering too..

Eg u buy Vios j, but when accident in front bumper, they will not add the skirting back as its additional, while steering if somehow they know its not an original vios steering, maybe they just left with no steering.. huhu..
*
Oh.. then good luck for u !! biggrin.gif

Yeah ... with 195/55/R15... the wall is higher hence the floaty feeling.
Maybe in the future I'd try 195/50/R15 ... with shorter wall ... less floaty(?)
With 17" or 16" .. this effect is lesser bcoz most of the height is the rigid rim.
Mine is J spec ... the pick up is horrible with rim higher than 15"
If i'm not mistaken the stock rim was 14"?
*
Mine is J too an original 185/55/R15 quiet good compare City S type just gave you 175/55/15 only. Unless you upgrade 16" become 195/50/16 will better. Similar with high spec TRD type.

Yours is not 3rd Gen?

3rd Gen came with 185/60/R15 tyres and TRD also using the same size, we don't have the 16" TRD for 3rd Gen in Malaysia.
*
Sorry for typo. Yes is 3rd gen and wheel size 185/60/15.
Btw, trd not 16" ?
That time I'm not concerning to the high spec so I thought trd will bigger wheel of size.

Guys, did you realised when after rain on wet road you pass over bump got squeezing noise?
Especially you test it on down hill with bump. Look like coming from absober or rubber bush or those area with rubber touching.
This can repair from SC?

hi guys!

I want to inquire.

My wife just got her 3rd generation Vios which comes without fog lamps.

I also noticed that despite having no foglamps, there was a "on/off" switch on on the handles but apparently "locked" in position.

Is there any recommendation for me to have the foglamps installed and the foglamp switch "unlock"?
*
Foglamp install will not void ur warranty? I heard this part will cut ur wire share from headlamps. Unless there got plug socket was ready in the bumper. We still need check relay box if there prepare or not? My J type, no choice have to wait few years do later.

There are many inconsiderate people turning on their rear fog lamp to deliberately irritate and blind the drivers behind.
*
When we get to learn undang-undang every distance in between 3m away. If we keep 3m long it would not irritating behind driver. Unless those bastard he think he is expert can tailgate so closed bumper to bumper.
One thing, switch off rear foglamps when the car stopping due to traffic jam or traffic junction.
I don't think we are wrong to turn on rear foglamp when the car are moving especially highway.

160k km mileage need to change fuel filter.. Anyone change before?
*
Suppose every 80km change fuel filter. But you can request next service change which mean in 90km. Maxcheck may burn money such as Aircond service, Gear oil, cooling water, etc. So you can do seperate to next service.

Nobody like on coming car with high light irritating them. Likewise those behind you wouldn't like your foglamp irritating their eyes.
*
bro, my statement very clear. Nobody would like being tailgate due to dangerous of emergency braking.
If behind people feel irritation mean the car really closed bumper to bumper. Else, it would not harmful the behind driver cause rear foglamp not very strong as high light.
If i have a choice, i prefer not to switch ON rear foglamp to saving energy. But really not understand why there must tailgate.

Honestly speaking, the light won't as what others complaining which high power until can make them blind permanently.

But, turning them ON during clear night will still somehow irritate the drivers behind you, also tend to let the drivers behind losing concentration as the rear fog lights output are the same with brake light.
*
That's why I will turn on when someone tailgate me on highway, or access speed limit 110km/h. High speed tailgate definitely dangerous than irritated behind driver.
I don't use in town or low speed.
