Here is the original clutch after 88K KM of use.
SA said this might still can use but since I already open clutch to change the bearing, so suggest me to change also.

Our original is made by daikin (Exedy) also thumbup.gif

Bro, by any chance you got the part numbers of the new individual clutch /cover

Because :
https://forum.lowyat.net/uploads/attach-90/...-1438158336.jpg
vs http://www.exedy-aftermarket.com/english/p...l/?id=MB-CY4A-1

And from your pictures of our Stock clutch, it is confirmed that Exedy is showing the correct parts as per my website.
100% as per Exedy site I linked, so yours is undersized by outer diameter 5mm

MN132330 and MN132331

Our Stock clutch already can barely cope on high rpm clutch dumps, if it's out of spec, may have some concerns lol

- Mivec feel is overrated,  it's a frigging Toyota DVVT

- Give you a scenario Har,  let's say owner is me. Heavy track driver and overall car abuser. Mileage and year of ownership low,  but the wear and tear no need me to elaborate lo.
I can also guarantee you that visually not easy to inspect also.

Secondly,  female driver ah,  lets say super low mileage,  10k km /6 months oil change,  but I change it 2 years later because mileage 2k only. What's that warning sign on the dashboard?  Dunno la the car can still drive no need care.

- Then how you want to learn more on half cut?  I also no time to learn lol. And assume you do,  who's to guarantee that half cut part no issue?

Basically,  if you're aware of what you're getting into and still want to go for it stubbornly (like me hahaha),  then go ahead lo lol.
*
lol... very good example also, but 2k for 2yrs not valid as whichever come first. even 2k for 2yrs no service i think acceptable haha.. but impossible la, mean 1k 1yrs, less than 100km permonth.. but iinm those mileage actually can be tamped? actually high but put low.. maybe only want to know better is from the service book if available..

Halfcut u no jalan mea? haha, but those shop who bring in halfcut if got experience, part they bring should be ok also as they want to sell it, before they sell they need make sure thing they have is good, maybe they own got expert in inspection.

QUOTE(kcmy @ Jul 31 2015, 10:02 PM)
ya bro, both the same price, RM51,800.

DP RM10k (Trade in my current 12yr old Ford) plus top up and comes to about RM700 per mth.

im also like you, thinking of getting a car tats 3 yrs and below and has low mileage. will bring a mechanic to check if i need to.
*
wad ford ? mean dp over 10k? u loan how many yrs n what rate? haha i havent go check the rate yet.
Mechanic sometimes will pakat with them 1, need careful. Mileage nw i wondering their reliability as it can be chg to lower

i'm giving you very exaggerated example. and that's just the engine oil, what about other items?
"har? need to change gear oil wan ah?"
"har? brake pad need to change wan a? i thought that noise (wear indicator pin) is normal geh?"

and ya, mileage can be tempered.
digital even easier so long you got the tools.

halfcut i no jalan, also rely on members here and these days they so busy, everything also slowed down.
and hor, bring expert no need money ah?
half cut cincai sell make maximum profit wan lo.

if not half cut store huge chunks of part for what?

Rite.

I never look into mileage as they sure tempered it. Only look through the condition of the car if from use car.

If direct owner then mileage is trust-able.

Car with high mileage but in good car no big issue.

Car with low mileage but always track then got issue. LOL~~~

Those are merely examples ma.
Low mileage but female driver that don't know a damn thing about cars I would also worry, potentially more than someone who abuse the car but comes clean /be honest of it.

People always say female driver /owner good ma, but when you know the way they maintain cars (my sister /mom being good examples), I would stay away from those cars also.
