Dear Sifu, Inspira aftermarket parts is it easily available? Like those Oil filter, air filter, brake pad, clutch and etc... For normal service like say Oil filter and Air filter will cost roughly how much if service outside?

Normal service (EO plus oil filter) around rm 250-rm300 outside.Oil filter, air filter brake pad all easy to get stock. However, clutch a bit leceh cause the ori one is expensive and not many aftermarket options unless u will to go for ClutchMaster for around 500-700 USD.

I would say standard price for maintainence for a 2.0 liter sedan.

Hope that helps smile.gif

Oh.. in this case it means those major parts like compressor, radiator, alternator and etc is hard to find aftermarket parts, only option would be getting ori parts from Proton right?

I know the parts price is higher than other local car, I just want to estimated roughly how much I need to prepare for any damage if opt for a 2nd-hand MT, because those ori parts price list is indeed quite 2.0 litre sedan's price and I'm looking if there's a chance to opt for aftermarket parts and I'm aware the risk for using aftermarket parts as well sweat.gif

Your service of rm 250-rm300 means the air filter and oil filter alone will cost around 30-40 each? I'm assuming your lub cost RM200

i got an issue here..
just now was doing regular checking on the fluid level for brake/power steering/engine, and when i was checking on the brake fluid reservoir, i accidentally pulled the "filter" (white color) inside and it dropped it into the engine bay, and i can't find it anymore...

just wondering will there be any negative affect if the "filter" not placing inside the reservoir?

and a stupid question, where can i get a replacement for it? sweat.gif

How much do you think a 2nd hand Inspira 1.8 AT will be sold at nowadays? Considering it is manufactured 2012 onwards. Thinking of getting one instead of the usual B segments. hmm.gif

35-45k range? 1.8 CVT very rare ady as it stopped production very early on

save on car, but you need to have some savings for maintenance/wear and tear

Then I suppose 2.0 is a safer bet? albeit a less frugal(?) FC and higher tax. Usually after 3 years on the road, roughly 2 service per year costing around 900 bucks? Was thinking of a 2nd hand Preve/Suprima but its plethora of techs kinda made me wary of parts malfunction.

thanks for your info, appreciate that! notworthy.gif

i tried to look from the above with torchlight, can't see anything... guess it must be dropped on a flat place, i tried to drive the car around my parking lot just now, made some turns, hopefully it will drop but too bad not.

anyhow, it shouldn't be big issue even without that part i think?
