To those facing dashboard rattles problem, try this solution:
1. Change stock HU panel with Evo X HU panel, taiwan will cost around rm60-100
2. Put gap sealer (foam or sponge) at both sides of glove box. I used grey colour one
3. Pull a bit your meter brightness adjuster button to make it ngam2 fit
4. Cut off the dashboard metal pivot at the both sides of A pillar (evo x forum suggested to use glue, grease etc..but i just cut it off tongue.gif)

Ive done the above methods, solved 98% of the rattles problem  smile.gif ..balance 2% is because i got a very fussy & sensitive ears..hahaha

i followed the method given in the thread to fix the noise from pillar B (seat belt), but didnt work... and i started to get used to the noise while driving after 2 years... yawn.gif

i got an issue here..
just now was doing regular checking on the fluid level for brake/power steering/engine, and when i was checking on the brake fluid reservoir, i accidentally pulled the "filter" (white color) inside and it dropped it into the engine bay, and i can't find it anymore...

just wondering will there be any negative affect if the "filter" not placing inside the reservoir?

and a stupid question, where can i get a replacement for it? sweat.gif

Brake Master Cylinder Container 4627A027 353.93
Brake Master Cylinder Container Cap 4625A380 38.42

no filter included... lol.

better if you still can find it around your engine bay.

thanks for your info, appreciate that! notworthy.gif

i tried to look from the above with torchlight, can't see anything... guess it must be dropped on a flat place, i tried to drive the car around my parking lot just now, made some turns, hopefully it will drop but too bad not.

anyhow, it shouldn't be big issue even without that part i think?

having another issue with my car again... rclxub.gif

the windscreen got a crack, unsure what caused that.. so thinking to replace the windscreen.
1) The windscreen is covered by the insurance, so should I call to to the insurance company to inform them im going to do a replacement? Or directly go to the shop, do the replacement, and then claim from the insurance?
2) Any shop around Puchong area to recommend? Mine is 2.0P, windscreen comes with the rain sensor.

thank you! notworthy.gif

1. you can just go to the repair shop where your panel insurance for windscreen.

how much you insured for your windscreen? some shop will said need to install Japan original windscreen if not the sensor won't function properly. I did post before for the price for original (meow & mit) and i installed with meow where my insured amt only 1500.
