Dear Sifu, Inspira aftermarket parts is it easily available? Like those Oil filter, air filter, brake pad, clutch and etc... For normal service like say Oil filter and Air filter will cost roughly how much if service outside?

QUOTE(gbsaint @ Dec 23 2015, 11:51 AM) Normal service (EO plus oil filter) around rm 250-rm300 outside.Oil filter, air filter brake pad all easy to get stock. However, clutch a bit leceh cause the ori one is expensive and not many aftermarket options unless u will to go for ClutchMaster for around 500-700 USD. I would say standard price for maintainence for a 2.0 liter sedan. Hope that helps Oh.. in this case it means those major parts like compressor, radiator, alternator and etc is hard to find aftermarket parts, only option would be getting ori parts from Proton right? I know the parts price is higher than other local car, I just want to estimated roughly how much I need to prepare for any damage if opt for a 2nd-hand MT, because those ori parts price list is indeed quite 2.0 litre sedan's price and I'm looking if there's a chance to opt for aftermarket parts and I'm aware the risk for using aftermarket parts as well Your service of rm 250-rm300 means the air filter and oil filter alone will cost around 30-40 each? I'm assuming your lub cost RM200

QUOTE(Quazacolt @ Dec 27 2015, 05:37 PM) Oh nothing special, my car total loss je Sad to hear that especially for a person who take really good care of his car and really thankful that you step out unscratched... This may not be appropriate, but can you show some snapshot of the car's current condition?

QUOTE(Quazacolt @ Dec 28 2015, 11:20 AM) i really love my car, and i guess in the car's own way, it also love me by letting me walk away generally unharmed. (just a minor scratch, so not exactly unscratched also) considering what has happened, its quite a miracle that no serious injuries happened to me personally. at least on the surface, still pending a MRI, getting doctor's recommendation letter tonight. pictures when things settled/finalized. downgrade to 2 wheels Yeah, I've watched some of your video and gone through your experiences with your Iswara and Inspira, you did really put a lot effort to keep them well maintained after a good spin I'm not sure how the crash happens, but do you personally think if it comes with ESC, will it help to avoid this incident? Just wanna hear your personal experience...

» Click to show Spoiler - click again to hide... « QUOTE(Quazacolt @ Dec 28 2015, 12:31 PM) agreed bro but at this point besides inspira, no other cars in mind, and i am a bit reluctant to go for an inspira again. my car has ESC and given the situation, ESC wasn't able to help as the car was air borne already, no system can help at that point. even prior to the car flipping, the speed was just too fast for the tires/brakes to do much and the ESC pretty much relies on both said key components to function. QUOTE(K3nnYkl82 @ Dec 28 2015, 12:31 PM) FYI, ASC / ESC / VSA .. is not god like.. it will help in emergency situation .. thou good tires need to pair with it as well.. however it wont help if you drive like a maniac .. put it this way.. if u are speeding too fast into a conner.. ur car buang .. the ASC / ESC / VSA .. need time to reach, even though it does scan like 160 times / second if i am not mistaken .. 160 / sec = 6.25 ms response time ... says you travelling 120km/h into a skid .. 120km/h = 2km / minute 33.33 meter / second 33 mm / ms .. 6.25ms = 206.55 mm for it to know you start to skid .. 20cm .. and when it react .. the tire have limit as well.. if it could take the abuse or not .. Wow! that was one very fine explaination... Because ESC Sounds quite godlike on papar but I'm doubting the reliability of it... can't say it wasn't helpful at all, just wanna know its limit... because I also saw forumer said stuffs like... when it buang he try to balance the car back based on his skill but the car also help it to correct, made it over-corrected, I forgot where I saw this line already...

QUOTE(Quazacolt @ Dec 28 2015, 03:21 PM) it is pretty godlike, but it still isn't god and you cannot defy the laws of physics. bear in mind again that the system is invented/programmed by human being and like most things with humans, we aren't perfect. also unless he's over correcting (or rather, wrong correction, maybe counter steering where counter steer isnt needed), or doing something really bizarre against the system, the ESC most of the time will help you correct appropriately. generally, you just need to steer/point the direction where you need the car to go and the system will correct as needed, if it is needed. think about it though, with ESC, and if your wheels are on the ground with grip, chances are you wont get to skid/slide to the point where you'll need to counter steer in the first place. I got what u mean now, that's why both of u and K3 keep stressing need tyre with good grip because no use if the car wanna control the wheel but the tyre couldn't act as how the ESC wished Not sure if you still remember, got 1 vid u posted touring in Sepang one that you got excited seeing civic lost control but at very end your car skid abit but you able to counter back... that time have you installed ESC?
