i dun find the place boring
it's a great hangout place for us living in the cities to breath some fresh air and release our tension
in fact i actually goes there whenever i got free time

distance wise, tapah is nearer, but the twist and turns are making the journey slower and dun forget the buses and lorries, but more scenery, and higher chances of land slide (touch wood)
safety wise, simpang pulai road is wider and less turnings, less secnerary, need to go thru kampung raja which is another small town (sometimes the road is a bit slow)

1st day live in kow loon hotel, rm108 for such a peak season, reasonable, located at brinchang, good location, walking distance to brinchang pasar malam. although i don't really like the hotel but its ok lar... for this kind of rate i'd prefer first world in genting tongue.gif

2nd day due to din book earlier so ended up moved to twin pines guest house, rm30 only drool.gif , its for ppl with low budget.

i'd recommend iris hotel, rm78 if i am not mistaken, saw from the sign board... i think its much more better, looks new, perhaps u can ask from other forumers see they ever visited iris hotel or not?

Don't have a point to stay there yet...i usually go up for business at around 9am...reach brinchang around 10am....go to smokehouse for lunch....grab some stuff at brinchang market....then head back to ipoh by 3pm....btw, do stop at the smokehouse for scones...damn nice, better than bharat's....

I've some relatives up in brinchang but not really close with them after my grandma past away...used to like eating pancakes at the deaf couple near the taxi stand at tanah rata...hmmm....

hello there... am planning to go up there next month so need some information.

wat is the round trip bus fare if embarking from KL puduraya?
also, i wonder if there's any cozy hotels/chalets etc available with affordable rates. Of course the cheaper rate the better smile.gif

thanks a lot
