I am going to stay @ kowloon this weekend...
wish to know the facilities also...
how far from kowloon to pasar malam?
saturday nite got pasar malam rite?
I am driving there, my friends said the road very narrow only for 1 way, so you have to horn all the way... how true is this? if this is true then it will be quite dangerous already...

the pasar malam is right at the front of the hotel. really.  laugh.gif

as for the route (the old route i assume), its not that scary lah... but indeed u need to b kful there.

or u can use the new route. its seem to b a lot more safer n easier.

tapah road around 3-4 hours
simpang pulai road around 2-3 hours
actually kea farm is not a farm
it's just a morning market

and a place's name
beside equatorial nia

According to this map:

I should pass by Tapah exit before Simpang Pulai exit, so I just ignore Tapah and take Simpang Pulai exit after Tapah lor... thanks for the information dude!

QUOTE(driftmeister @ Dec 15 2006, 03:32 PM)
i dun find the place boring
it's a great hangout place for us living in the cities to breath some fresh air and release our tension
in fact i actually goes there whenever i got free time
yep, ignore tapah exit
go straight until simpang pulai exit on ur left
after toll turn right to the main road, the junction to the hill road is on ur right again
forgot which junction but there aren't far from the toll
distance wise, tapah is nearer, but the twist and turns are making the journey slower and dun forget the buses and lorries, but more scenery, and higher chances of land slide (touch wood)
safety wise, simpang pulai road is wider and less turnings, less secnerary, need to go thru kampung raja which is another small town (sometimes the road is a bit slow)

thanks guys, came back from cameron dy, a nice trip.
thanks everyone for all the information, esp. driftmeister notworthy.gif
was a nice break although nothing much special
took kayu ara toll to simpang pulai, rm24.80
cold and heavy mist... hardly see the road when coming back...
bought 99 roses with some flower for the bunch decoration for rm35
eat many strawberries, but not that sweet... tasted the strawberry ice cream, the strawberry smoothies, strawberry dip with chocolate, dried strawberry, dried rose, etc, all strawberries and roses stories... lolz... tasted the hongkong steamboat, nothing special. i like the "fried mushroom", dun really know the exact name...
oh yea manage to buy the 7 colours clock (selling in LYN bulk for rm12 or rm15) at rm8 only with free battery at brinchang nite market!

eh which hotel u stay in?
*
1st day live in kow loon hotel, rm108 for such a peak season, reasonable, located at brinchang, good location, walking distance to brinchang pasar malam. although i don't really like the hotel but its ok lar... for this kind of rate i'd prefer first world in genting tongue.gif

2nd day due to din book earlier so ended up moved to twin pines guest house, rm30 only drool.gif , its for ppl with low budget.

i'd recommend iris hotel, rm78 if i am not mistaken, saw from the sign board... i think its much more better, looks new, perhaps u can ask from other forumers see they ever visited iris hotel or not?
