They didn't have the Custom there.... but you can ask them and they can find out the price.

Just for giggles, I asked them to inquire how much a Gibson Les Paul Standard, 60s slim neck would cost....... they said they'll have to get back to me.....

epi LP standard woh fatt has a couple left at RM2.2k.
thats about the standard list price now in most places.

and you sure the fasttrack usb was RM500+ at smx? i was there couple weeks ago was RM455 list.

as for guitar store, they have a guy in there modding pedals, which is why they asked that question of normal or modified.
how good his work is, i dont care cos im not bothered with modified pedals.

how different are modified ones ?

Yes. Epi quality is going down..... unfortunately. They are now made in China and the quality isn't as good as their Korean counterparts.
Now, I'll just with Gibsons.....

wait til the indonesian made epi's start coming out in full force, they just started last yr.

and china is slowly catching up, they better be after 4yrs of making epis.

That's true. The China made Razorback is getting ALOT of high praises too.

yea, i dont doubt the razorback is bad.
but paying more than USD1k for something made in china, well alot of ppl are definitely thinking twice about that, or not even bothered to buy it.

you can get japanese jacksons, US strats, heck even a gibson LP at that price.

Like I said, the Dean Razorback has exceptional quality even for the China made guitars... and they ARE priced at over USD1k....

But if you're buying an Epiphone for USD1k? Eh.... dunno...... have to think about it.

you can still find korea, just have to look around.

Actually my dad bought a Korean electric-acoustic. It's a Ovation copy. The brand is Elite. Don't know here he got it from but it sounded not too bad. The beauty is the abalone inlays.
