Re abv prob, is there a 3rd party hi temp silicone replacement for that problematic part? Feel Proton kenot b the only user of such COP components...
Anyone? Bro wankel...overseas? Tqvm in adv.
ps. Probably a temp prevention wld b 2remove the COP assy fr spark plugs rwgularly ie like every 3 mths of 5k Km? And applying some silicone grease...mayb?
Actually the issue is due to the tight fitting of the lower rubber boot to the plug ceramic body. If you have other cars with cop you can try n feel how much force the rubber boot grab the ceramic body. Proton one grabs very strongly since I have mitsubishi and lexus at home I tested them all can remove the plug from the boot easily without much brute force. So to 1 time solve this problem just use a slightly larger drill bit n drill the bottom rubber boot bigger so that it just grip the plug nicely not too right or too loose.
Feel I wld need a spare COP Assy b4 I attempt removal of any SP boot fr my Gaga.... Why? Hv nvr done so ever since replacing them with Iridium ones...years ago! That time me tried 2do replacement myself w/o realising SPs were different...direct fit/no washer type! Had also no suitable SP socket wrench!! So me decided 2send 2SC 2do so during free OCI service time...
I hv since then bought suitable magnetic socket wrench c/w T-handle but now hv phobia of opening up after hearing those stories of COP damages. ..
hey guys, any of you faced this issue before? the fuel door is stucked even after lifting the ejection latch at the bottom of the driver seat. it just happened when I went to refuel.
any idea how long will it take for the service centre to rectify this? I'm always travelling and I need my car with me all the time.
Adjust the latch in the fuel cover...Mine people though is auto open...Hahahaha
Holla fellow owners....went to sepang on Saturday for track day testing out my suspension and it was really great the car handles better then before. Still more to explore.
