Techgeek assistance required:
![]() Ayam no fancy phone guy, but I appreciate if it has a decent camera at the price range of RM500. I tried to dive into Lowyat, in the end got myself even more confused by vast majority of those sales person trying to push the most expansive phone to me. So, I choose to ask my tech savvy friends in GaGa forum which I think I trust more then the sales guy in Low Yat. This Alcatel is kambing out tomolo, the price is just around my budget! And the ads mentioned alot on the camera function, which also meet my requirement! Think very the gengchao. Tell me people, is this a good buy? Or should I go back to XiaoMi lar, or get a free HwaWei phone from Digi plan? |

QUOTE(ohcipala @ Oct 25 2015, 09:21 AM) Your budget around rm500? What specs/function do you want in a phone? Have to lay out 1st ma then pipu can give recommendation. Inb4 salesmen come in I asked for 2. 1, very business oriented. Strong and powerful email just like any blackberry. Another phone I'd love to, just to keep me and family connected, can call, can whatsapp, have a good selfie/back kamera. Both also bajet around 500 as said. For specs, seriously I have no idea what do I want and to me no hang no lag then fine liao. U tell me how many core processor, I wouldn't know. I spent most of my time doing car stuff |

QUOTE(Bazinga! @ Oct 26 2015, 04:14 AM) davidke20 Thanks dude. Decision made! With so many powderful kamera on da fon, can use it to make home grown prawn liao » Click to show Spoiler - click again to hide... « couple of points of comparison; A is rm549, B is 529. A is running stock AOSP lollipop, B is running MIUI 6(xiaomi's own twist of android aosp OS). which means A will have very minimal or next to no bloatwares from the phone company, while B, will have more because xiaomi included more apps that is part of the OS of the phone. Same concept like how samsung inserts alot of apps which very few people use into their OS. A has a 5inches screen, but pixel density is lower (294ppi) compared to B at 4.7inches (312ppi). The pixel density wont be easily noticeable by the naked eye but viewing HD videos will have difference in these 2 phones. A and B both running on 64-bit chips, but A is 8 core, B is 4 core. means processing power on A is marginally faster. Antutu benchmark test result for A is 34575, while B is 20091 (higher is better) Camera, A wins hands down. 13megapixels at the back compared to B's 8megapixel. A even has LED flash at the front facing camera, a feature which not many phones have, not even those flagship/expensive phones. Battery; A has a 3000 capacity battery but if not mistaken is non removable, while B has a 2200 removable battery. Both phones has 2gb ram and 16gb rom memory. A has micro sd expansion up till 128gb, B has the same but only until 32gb. Hope this comparison helps boss |

Saved by Broton GaGa FL
Today, was driving to Seremban branch for work in the morning. As usual, drive out happily in my VIOS trying to achieve better FC, enjoy the ever so strange stock Blaupunkt player on Hitz FM. After sent daughter to school, then go to McD borrow toilet bowl and had a blast. Came back out and continue my journey. To my horror, at ELITE near to Dengkil/Banting area, a Plotong GaGa grey color came very near and gave me butt shout, honk me for quite few times, get to my side and point finger at my rear wheel. I was like, horrykrap this is it. Pipu try to rob my VIOS!!! Luckily my VIOS got eletronic side mirror adjust, I fiddle with the switches and found out indeed my rear tyre is losing pressure fast. I had no choice but to stop the car by the roadside. As I start to taking out stuff from the trunk, getting ready to change spare tayar, the Broton GaGa from far reverse all the way back. I was thinking again, horrykrap those bugger is kambing back trying to offer a helping hand and ugut me for marnee. Luckily wallet oni got less then RM30, if wanna rob me also not much can he get! No doubt, the brader is a middleaged Malay unker trying to offer help. I told him I'm fine with tayar changing, also I got my towing service from insurance, will have absolutely no plobrem. The unker insisted to be my company incase anything happen to me, since nowadays criminals everywhere. My heart still 15/20 worrying if the unker himself is a criminal... damn worry wei To my horror, after I removed everything from the trunk, found my spare tayar also no air So I putted back the tayar, before left. Unker slot the RM10 back to my pocket and say mau saling menolong. Sungguh terharu to the max. |

QUOTE(bai1101 @ Oct 29 2015, 10:21 AM) I memang tengah try ini Nowadays fuel compliance are mostly on the emission side, even lower PPM and cleaner air. Has nothing much to deal with performance/economy. As said previously, the more importance are vehicle engine management compatibility. Our GaGa is compliance with EURO2 standard with minimum requirement of RON91 compliance fuel. Hence, anything above RON91 is acceptable for our car, but MAY NOT benefit to the performance/longevity/usability/fuel economy of the vehicle itself. Our engine came with electronic fuel injection system, accompany with knock sensor, timing adjustment, IAFM(Intake Air Fuel Module), hence any fuel that's running below RON91 the sensor will be able to detect and lower the ignition timing. On the other hand, if you have anything above RON91, then the ECU will not do anything other then continue it's regular function.I dah pum mahu dekat 100 liter punya ron 97 sudah. So, yea you don't see much different other then BUTT DYNO Good luck in exploring. Not that I'm saying its wrong to use latest technology, but don't put too high expectation. |

QUOTE(TitanRev @ Oct 29 2015, 11:48 AM) Actually more damage than I expected...coz I initially guess is, Fuel pump will die, injector nozzle will burst and CC flooded. That's all. Didn't know leaking and fuel filter also RIP together...then I think about it. Yeah because diesel is much thicker than petrol so when you apply pressure to it it won't compress so the pressure all burst from weak points. Oh, the spark plugs was all wet like soak in lub oil.... I've came across 1 case like this when I was in Toyota. Somehow the owner wrongly put in diesel but he siphoned out as much as possible then refill back with full tank of petrol. He manage to drive very slowly to our service center with a jerky engine. The damage he had was less. Fuel filter had to go, injector nozzle 1,3 had issues...that's all...we just clean out the entire fuel system and emptied out all the tank. Send the 2,4 injector for inspection and clean out...and that's it. So it's down to how many diesel you put into the tank that would do how much damage.... |
