Just got my car back from SC today after sitting there for 3 days. Just to sharing what I experienced with a bad fuel pump.
Rewind back to what happened since last Friday. As what I asked in my previous post, the fuel pump was producing abnormal lower tone of "teet" sound before I start the engine. That day was Friday, and the car was able to start and drive normally despite the weird fuel pump sound. While I was thinking, since it was Friday and still be able to drive normally, I might as well send to SC to have a check on next Monday.
Then fast forward to Sunday when the real sh*t happened. On 8pm, my relatives following behind my car was telling me that he saw my car are producing black smoke from the exhaust, but me in my car didn't felt any difference in engine sound and performance, then I ignored because I dont think bad fuel pump will causes black smoke.
Then fast forward to 11pm when Im leaving from relative's house to head home. Then the car start to hiccup and feel like dying whenever I stop at traffic light at D gear. It became worse and worse on every stop of traffic light which I have to switch off the aircond. Then it drive about 2KM and start loosing power and then eventually stopped. No matter how many time I Wuekekeke it still wont start. I then called a tow truck and have it towed to the nearest SC first, then went back on next morning to file a complain.

Meanwhile for the warranty side, I did the previous service outside instead of SC. By right the warranty should be void already, but the SC offers me to have it service on the spot and they will remain the warranty for the fuel pump. Which I agreed to pay for the expensive service because the "bawah pokok" service also due already. So I saved money for the fuel pump but back to Petronas lubricant.

Try drive for 1 week first, see whether will appear again the error anot

hmmm no comment on BLM but i belip BLM spring is softer than FLX right?

im driving FLX and im using 195/50/15 on 7jj et+35 no issue for me even fetching 4 adults at the back

maybe u can try harder spring?

honestly, i've no eye see the stupiak CVT light adi, since the day i got my car till now, 2 yrs touchwood, CVT light comes up and every SINGLE time i go SC service i tell them this issue, no hope, still comes back

yup shud be safe if use 6.5jj et38 . been using 195 50 for two years with proride sport spring rear no sagat at all even when i flying kite lol

looks like your tayar profile at 55 is the one making it sagat. mayb combination of softer springs and your 55 tayar profile the one making it happen.
mostly blm/fl/flx will go for 50. can be 165/50, 175/50, 185/50, 195/50.

either pasang spring buffer so that spring wont compress too much under weight (but wont really work after awhile i think) or use those hard rubber buffer pasang at the absorber shaft. that is save money option la.

I went to kuching previously no one have the intention to meet me. Karma la tu deswai rosaked fuel pump.
