my flx saga got squeaking sounds behind. Happens everytime when car started to move from a total stop. Then no more. Happens mostly when i started to drive out from the house. sad.gif

Alternator rosak also show you cartoon over the dashboard, which door not close also got indicate. Reminds me TitanRev once told us his 206 gave him chicken feather duck blood after some panai magician go cut his lighting wayar to modify lights after kena bite by tikus, ever since the whole car here warning light, there tit tit sound laugh.gif

Yeah, cars with CANBUS multiplexed system. You better not give it to any half pass 6 people who don't know the car to do the wiring job. 1 single wiring mistake will cause you hell lot of a problem in the future. Some problem will show immediately some will only show up later in the ownership of the car. My experience is with my Pug 206. Mine was a year 2000 car so it was not fully multiplexed system yet but the BSI (Body Control Module) something like CANBUS also. Was a very very fooking sensitive piece of device....when I bought the car I didn't know it will give so much headache if you tamper with the wiring at the BSI unit. Even just to tap power from the BSI input caused my car door actuator to not function properly, check engine light sometimes come and go. Then I lost my car key so I opt to change the entire alarm system to a Viper unit which was a very very very bad idea. The installation itself was already a very difficult task trying to figure out which wire is which since that time the 206 was only available in CBU units Naza Bestari was not even launch yet. It took me and the shop guy 3 days to get the alarm installed and wiring correctly but in the process we have spliced don't know how many wires already. Tap wire here and there. Initially no problem surface after installed...I was like yeah...cool viper alarm sound "Viper Arm..Viper disarm" with he EL flashing viper logo on the corner of the windscreen. Then shit start to hit....car cannot start sometimes, sometimes engine suddenly die, sometimes gearbox light flashing, sometimes idling halfway engine die....I was plague with endless problem which myself have not a clue....went to google and found many pug and citroen have BSI unit problem. Then as I google more the more I got shock....you just can't simply mess with the wiring. I end up ripping the entire system off. repaired back all the wiring before the BSI unit burnt itself which will cost me few Ks to get a new unit from PSA France. There was not much technical support locally here back then and the pug 206 owners group was small and mostly remain the car stock and lightly modded not sohai like me rojak japan and local car parts....

So yeah, multiplexed system has its pros and cons. If you wan to do something just be sure to get someone who really knows the car wiring system really well....

I want to share about my experience after replaced the fuel pump.
The most noticeable difference is the engine RPM drop to 500rpm and back to 900rpm on every complete stop with previous pump compare to the current one which the engine rpm will lower down steadily to 900rpm on a complete stop at traffic light. The engine start up more willingly compare to the old pump. Engine rpm maintain steadily within range when changing gear from R-N-D and vice versa. Less sudden power surge when applying throttle.
Which makes me thinking, I was using a lemon fuel pump all the while since about 2 years ago until it slowly deteriorate and gave up.

honestly, i've no eye see the stupiak CVT light adi, since the day i got my car till now, 2 yrs touchwood, CVT light comes up and every SINGLE time i go SC service i tell them this issue, no hope, still comes back  laugh.gif

at last i dont k  whistling.gif

but thats really something new huhu, but why CVT light got banyak related thingy to powertrain, network, chasis  doh.gif

Hi, im having an issue with my fuel meter today. Before i refuel, my fuel meter has 3 bars. After i refill full tank, the meter still at 3 bars.
Anyone encountered this issue before? My car is flx sv.

Then fast forward to 11pm when Im leaving from relative's house to head home. Then the car start to hiccup and feel like dying  whenever I stop at traffic light at D gear. It became worse and worse on every stop of traffic light which I have to switch off the aircond. Then it drive about 2KM and start loosing power and then eventually stopped. No matter how many time I Wuekekeke it still wont start.  shakehead.gif  I then called a tow truck and have it towed to the nearest SC first, then went back on next morning to file a complain.

Meanwhile for the warranty side, I did the previous service outside instead of SC. By right the warranty should be void already, but the SC offers me to have it service on the spot and they will remain the warranty for the fuel pump.  blink.gif  Which I agreed to pay for the expensive service because the "bawah pokok" service also due already. So I saved money for the fuel pump but back to Petronas lubricant.  sweat.gif

Meaning you are saying your CVT light comes and go but still no problem till today with your CVT ?

how much is the cost to service Saga FLX 1.3 Auto CVT for 70000km? Prefer the compulsory only, not extra items.

Anyone face the problem with the remote alarm? My remote have problem to lock/unlock even though I change the battery. Sometimes it take almost 5 minutes to properly function to lock/unlock.....

try change different brand of battery.
happen to me. but my one is chapalang one. use sony punya ok. after a while kena change new one i bought GP one, i use GP one cannot use immediately. next day only can use. but i only can point the car key to the rear left tail lamp only then i can activate the alarm. other than that position i cannot activate the alarm. lol.
until now, i use 2nd car key ori one to activate the alarm lol. ori car key rocks.

btw, ur car key battery use cr2016 or cr2032?

cost of service:

EO (depends on u) e.g petro canada duron E 15w40 4L rm90
oil filter rm12.22
labour charge rm10-15 bawah pokok, rm55 at SC.

if got warranty, just go settle at SC.

the CVT light issue has been here since i got my car and i tried going to diff proton SC to solve the problem, even changing bulbs even its not burnt yet, still the CVT light will comes on suka hati

only thing i havent try yet is to change my CVT fluid, cox my car is not even 20k yet sweat.gif dont know whether to change or not to change cox its expensib

cvt fluid should change because when car come out from factory, using stock cvt fluid, having metal debris inside the cvt gb. changing cvt fluid alone is not expensive. changing cvt fluid WITH cvt filter IS expensive. you actually can change cvt filter when 2nd time change cvt fluid.

Because BLM is using single bus at the rear part of the car. The left/right brake lamp are interconnected. The worst is, 3rd brakelight +/- pole terbalik. In order to activate the checksum canbus for BLM(take note, I emphasize BLM alone, not relate to other variant)

1) Change both left/right brake lamp to LED BAU15s
2) Reverse the pole at the 3rd brake lamp socket
3) Plonk LED on the 3rd brake lamp

No lor.. Since i got my driving licence after form 5.. I were driving Unser 1.8, Datsun 120Y, Kancil 660, Wira 1.5 then this Gaga. If deduct Unser and wira which belongs to relative, even the Datsun 120Y year 1979 and Kancil have less problem than the Gaga. The Datsun had just only replaced its fuel pump earlier this year, it had been working properly for 36 years as compare to my 2.5 years Gaga. I even felt more confident driving the kancil than this Gaga.
