Sorry for question but i searched the forum and got some conflicting answers.

My dad has cancer and undergoing treatment with govt hospitals, the treatment price was minimal. But 2024 he had undergone immunotheraphy in which the medicine has to be bought from a 3rd party medical supplier. Those cost a substantial amount. Are those tax deductible under the 8k amount?

I think you can get the doctor to write a prescription as supporting document. That’s what i did.

guys..got BAKI CUKAI KENA DIBAYAR TAHUN TAKSIRAN 2023 of RM5K. since the instalment via lhdn is quite tedious, paid the RM5K via credit card and made 12 months instalment to the bank. so cannot claim under self-instalments/CP500 for 2024 right? as ldhn treat this as 1 lump sum payment?

Hi guys. My colleague told me that for private retirement scheme, we can only claim the contribution amount after deducting the sales charges and fees.

It’s my first time hearing this as all this while i’ve been claiming RM3,000 every year.

Is this correct? If so, then my net amount after sales charges and fees is only RM2,905.
