QUOTE(sHawTY @ Mar 16 2016, 07:18 PM) You're trying to scare me ah? Mid range or mid size? Job well done. But seriously, I'm not afraid of the price, I'm just afraid they release low to mid range card first then only release high end card afterwards That's what they did in previous node shrink, release a mid-size chip first a.k.a 7970 because it have better yield on the new node process but 7970 is like 60-80% better than previous flagship 6970 on release and >2x better now so if mid-size Polaris can top Fury-X performance by 50%-80% then i'm good. QUOTE(sai86 @ Mar 17 2016, 09:34 AM) I thought polaris gonna use HBM2, mana tau its on Vega..... Both i guess. Node shrink and "new" arch.seems like Polaris is a "Tock"? or a "Tick"? QUOTE(sHawTY @ Mar 17 2016, 10:22 AM) bukan tak kesah, tak dapat.......the space on the side of the case is not as big as CM advertises it, so not enough space to shove all the cables there. I'm also running 6 drives (4*HDD, 2*SSD) so almost all SATA power cables are used. plus the casing is so......frigging small.....(only realised now) |

At first Im tempted to buy Polaris but since its delayed for long I no longer bother with it. Twice I've been put my 290x on Garage Sales but pull out both time, I glad I did that. 290X most likely handle any new games at fullHD resolution for at least another year by the look of things. Even if Polaris is on time with the release I'll wait because each new process toom time to mature and I dont want to be a 'beta' tester.
