BitComet has DHT, uTorrent doesn't. With UT, I'm getting 10-20KB/s on latest TV series with lots of peers. But with BitComet, I can do 130-150KB/s on a 1mbit connection (RM 88). NO PROBLEM AT ALL!

But utorrent has DHT as well and utorrent's unique Peer Exchange. (works only with other utorrent)

Aiyah, at 27% and 50% for 2 torrents on utorrent. Cannot abandon. Test later but other bitcomet users don't have success either.

Wait a minute, huge peerlist? Sorry, not that popular. Just 30 peers.

i tried tuotu, can't even start to connect to tracker. I followed the instructions step by step, but it just doesn't connect to the tracker to get peers and seeds.

ANyone got any ideas?

There's something called uPNP and supported by most new routers. No need for port forwarding setup.

Ok, I'm here to rant. Why? I stumbled upon a freaking leecher on a torrent I'm downloading. I noticed a tm net peer so I turned off my bypass and figured I could peer with the other tm net user.

I'm uploading to him at 25 kBps meanwhile he's uploading to me at only 4kBps?  shocking.gif Needless to say I decided not to peer with that loser and used my bypass instead, with much better speeds than 4kBps.
*
Usually when I DL or seed, I get 2 or 3 TMNet downloading peers (leechers but thats just a technical term - not a pejorative in this case). I have to cap my upload speed so usually they can only get 4-5 kbs out of me per downloading peer. Perhaps thats the case? That guy may be sharing his upload to you with a few other peers. I'm using UTorrent, I don't exactly know how to allocate 100% of my upload speed to just 1 guy. Is this an Azureus feature?

Back on the subject matter:
Penang, Georgetown still affected. <5kbs DL

On my DLs with my 1.6 UTorrent - all the international seeders cant exceed 5kbs total - thats how much TMNet allocates me. On the other hand, if local seeders hop on the torrent (from TMNet) - the speed spikes to +50-60kbs occasionally (but rarely). Looking at the peers list, I see tantalizing clues on how the TMNet traffic shaping works. There are occasional bursts of speed out of international peers lasts for several minutes at a time (but they dissappear fast or throttled back as the traffic shaper "catches the data" and adapts). These bursts of speed usually come from only certain countries and is never USA or the western countries. Its a BIG CLUE RIGHT THERE. Look for that pattern - It will help you overcome the throttling. I can't say more because there are TMNut spies in the forum.

I'm the same location and condition as you..
when your speed is high, check whether its from local or int'l peers...
