Loc: Subang Jaya RM 88 / 1.5mbit package

The trick is to apply EventID 4226 patch (yeah, I know you already have... but...) this time, set it to max: 1000 connections. Don't worry, tested on Aztech 600E lousy modem, no problems surfing / MSN so far.

Anyway, use BitComet. Under uTorrent with P.E. enabled, I got only 15-20KB/s max... but with BitComet and max 999 connections (per torrent / server / overall), I can connect to about 100+ seed / peer per file. Launch simultaneous downloads, and I got a steady 150KB/s down 20KB/s up... I think its due to DHT, which finds more peers... so its a good thing.

Success for the past 8 hours, averaging 120KB/s ++ even with a few minutes down-time factored in (due to BitComet's crash!)! LOVE IT!

Are you sure about Disabling DHT? I seem to have good results with DHT enabled and EventID patched to 1000 (a thousand) max connections. International peers are still throttled, but now, it doesn't matter because many hundreds of local peers are feeding me.

Getting 150KB/s constant now, using BitComet.

I can connect to loads of Malaysian peers.. I'm downloading the "latest stuff" from the local movie scene... and getting 130-150KB/s consistent.. the DVD quality rip is almost done, all 1.5 GB of it wink.gif

whee.. I LOVE TM Nuut.

BitComet has DHT, uTorrent doesn't. With UT, I'm getting 10-20KB/s on latest TV series with lots of peers. But with BitComet, I can do 130-150KB/s on a 1mbit connection (RM 88). NO PROBLEM AT ALL!

But utorrent has DHT as well and utorrent's unique Peer Exchange. (works only with other utorrent)

Well, my test results are as follows.

3 files, huge peerlist

uTorrent: 20-30KB/s
BitComet with DHT: 130-150KB/s files

Aiyah, anything that works, just use it lah wink.gif
