Hi Zheilwane,

I'm interested in the Aquaphor Crystal Eco. Do you have a dealer in Johor Bahru?

If you dont have dealer in JB, can you PM price for unit.

Thanks.

Just check what is inside their filters, how many micron is the filtration after comparing, you will know whether it is a good buy or not smile.gif Can also bring catalog to my shop to compare with Aquaphor

Hi bro, some questions please:

1) From your personal opinion, will you think that a customer who buys 3M AP902 + Aquaphor Crystal ECO is more value worthy than 3M AP902 + 3M DWS2500T-CN?
- I state so because of: (a) Initial installation cost. (b) The cartridge replacement cost of Aquaphor Crystal ECO is less than 3M DWS2500T-CN and © the capacity of Aquaphor Crystal ECO is also higher than 3M DWS2500T-CN.

2) Now I see from 3M website, they are having promotion for the 3M AP902 + 3M DWS2500T-CN, can you provide me quotation for the promotional price of 3M AP902 + 3M DWS2500T-CN and the combination purchase of 3M AP902 + Aquaphor Crystal ECO?
(Please state whether the quotation is inclusive of installation fee).

3) Is the water filter out from both Aquaphor Crystal ECO and 3M DWS2500T-CN are directly drinkable without need to boil?

That is all for the moment. Probably will have follow up inquiry after your reply.

Aquaphor Crystal Eco with hollow fibre membrane technology has 0.1 micron filtration (DWS2500 0.2 micron), has patented Aqualen technology, Microcrystalline silver and many more. From comparing the spec and price, Aquaphor Crystal Eco is definitely a better buy. Initial Cost about half the price of DWS 2500, yearly maintenance cost about half price also.

Moreover, we are giving 1 year warranty against clogging as well but 3M does not

Labtest report for Aquaphor Eco based on malaysia water supply :

Thanks for your reply.
Think that answer my 1st question. Will you be able to provide feedback for the other 2 questions? Maybe in the form of PM if that is more appropriate.

Most customers prefer to get a slim modern design water dispenser and because of that there is limited space to install proper water filtration system in the water dispenser.

Why pay so much for a water dispenser with just a basic filter? You could opt to buy a good filter and then add a cheap water dispenser without filter as per photo for few hundred ringgit only smile.gif

Now you could have one filter for two outlets
1) Dedicated Faucet for cooking and drinking
2) Water Dispenser for Hot water

I believe most of you who are using water dispenser find it troublesome to get high volume of water for cooking like soup and etc. We cant put the pot or big jug for it to fill up by itself under the water dispenser.
For cooking purpose, the dedicated filter tap is more convenient.

So guys, I'm currently living in a condominium now as tenant. I've got a question about the Diamond Water Purifier.
There are 3 "purifying bottles" that I've seen on the sink which are A, B, C. I seen the A and C "purifying bottle" has never been change while B has been change as the latest date is 2017, while A and C is 2013.
Is it safe to change just the "purifying bottle" B? I'm aware that the house owner is a bit stingy though.
The main reason why I ask is due to the fact that I always get cracked lips when I come back to KL from Sarawak. I'm aware about the El-Nino that's currently happening in peninsular but I've been drinking the water the I boiled for safety lately(it's been 3 days) and my lips aren't cracking anymore.
Is it possible the water hasn't been purified properly due to the reason the "purifying bottle" not being changed? Or it's just that all of the "purifying bottles" has been changed but the covers has not?

Diamond water filter is a joke, seriously. Just get another budget type Culligan brand water filter with NSF certified, it can be bought from ACE hardware, and it probably even cheaper than you buy the new filter to replace the diamond filter.

Would like to check outdoor water filter beside Bacfree, any other brands which is performing as good as them?
I do not require those filter with certs or going in detailed of the microns.
All I need is clean water (non-yellowish) and hassle free outdoor filter (no need to change or service yearly).

Hope some of you can recommend as Bacfree is abit too pricey as it is selling outdoor unit at RM4k+.

As per the photo it is granular carbon. From what i know carbon filters are best to change minimum once a year to maintain the efficiency of the filtration and also to prevent bacteria grow inside the filter. If it is 2013, overdue 3 years already, definitely it is not good already and possible lots of bacteria inside.
