Me upgraded from 1.6L persona to this m3, the power difference is so huge, the torque n power delivery of this beast is just so smooth...

But if u say drag race like 0-60kmph versus vios, I do think m3 gonna lose, since heavier body compared to vios.. But I don't think acceleration after 80kmph, vios can outrun our m3.. hehe

Thanks for all the feedback. I'm thinking to upgrade my city VTEC 07 to a bigger & more powerful car. I like driving wife crz n frz jetta. Is really fun to drive n powerful pickup. Tested base accord. Not tat fun & power so so only. Jetta a bit worry of the quality n after sales service. Yet to test m3. But I think is best car in terms of value. Most important is fun to drive/powerful/efficient.. Space is not that important as I usually drive alone...

Just got my M3 hatch with the leather seats on Thursday :

I sent it for tinting on Friday and this is what the tint shop did to it :

F-ckers poured thinner on the back window panel and left it there for 2 hours until it dissolved the plastic. Car has to go back to Mazda for repairs next week. Mind you this shitty workmanship was done by the authorized installer for an extremely well known tint brand.

It's the rear door of the hatchback, under the rear glass window :

Mazda quoted me RM650+ to fix. That shop denied it at first despite the car being only less than 22 hours old (inspected and collected 4.30pm, they f-cked it up at 10am next day). I had to deal with their boss directly cause the main worker that did the job didn't even want to show his face -- claimed he had something to do and the other one just kept quiet.

His words were :

"I don't claim responsibility for this but I will pay for your repairs" -- really pissed me off even more. He only admitted it was the thinner they used after 2 hours and said he would take responsibility for it.

The best part about all of this is they didn't even know what a 'solvent' was or how thinner reacts with plastic. I asked if they used thinner because the whole car smelled like it and they denied it saying they only used 'spirit water'. My reaction was like omfg are you all mentally retarded...

They've been spraying thinner on every car and even on my front passenger and driver seats, the Mazda workshop guys noticed there were spray marks on the doors (which thankfully could be wiped away with water). The rear door in the picture wasn't so lucky as they left it on and it etched about 1-2mm deep into the plastic.

My mistake was not using my usual tint shop (I normally go with v-kool elite for all my cars) and assuming this other shop knew what they were doing.

This is a sickening thing to happen to the owner of a 1 day old car. The authorized shops charge high prices but quality and service sometimes do not match their prices. But we are threatened with voiding warranty if we do not use the authorized shops. Not good.

Anyway it's good that the owner of the shop will pay for repairs. Let's hope the car can be restored to the original condition.

HS Grey Meteor, any SA here can assist?

My only advice is to maintain ur booking and wait it out. This is one color which has customers waiting for at least 3 months minimum.

Even our waiting lists is now around 3+ months long for meteor grey.

Where did you book?

I'm sorry I can't comment on behalf of them. Is it along Jln Kuching dealer or Gombak Dealer ?

If you've booked and waited for 3 months already, perhaps ask your dealer which queue number you are at so that can give a better idea.

Factory totally do not assembled according to customer demand... alot white color out there but nobody want..

Very true. White is not the most popular colour but I don't understand why they keep producing this. Bermaz has online ordering system from dealers so there is no excuse not knowing what colours are in demand. The factory seems to go off on a frolic of its own.

Anyone here gt prob to connect the MZD to wifi-hotspot over the handset? I tried multiple times but keep on showing retry. However, other devices can just connect to wifi-hotspot smoothly.
