Anybody knows any links to mazda 3 skyactiv accessories, body kits. And also is it possible to change the halogen headlamps on the low spec m3 to the bi-xenon ones?

Can connect phone via USB? I tried the 2 USB ports in the central console but they don't recognize phone, they only recognize USB thumb drive.

The knock knock sound came from where? absorber?

This is my impression of my Mazda 3 GL spec after 3 days.

Gear change is very smooth, gas pedal is designed for economy driving, have to press harder to get the 'oomph'. I'm getting 7.5 l/100km for mixed driving including some spirited driving. This is good FC.

Cabin is quiet on reasonable roads. No wind noise at 120 km/h. On rough roads road noise intrudes significantly. No odd noises from dashboard or other body parts. No keok-keok sound when going over bumps so far.

Sound quality from FM radio is acceptable but not great. Music from USB and bluetooth sounds better. The average listener should have no complaint but I'm particular on audio so I may upgrade the speakers in future.

No confirmation sound when locking/unlocking car and no brake autolock. These should be able to install aftermarket.

Overall very satisfied with this car but there's still the nagging feeling I should have gone for high spec. Too late now!

The ride is comfortable. Cabin noise is surprisingly low. I have the impression the audio system increases the volume when the speed increase but as the cabin noise is still low it sounds too loud so I have to turn down the volume. Then when the car slows down the volume is a bit too low. Any other bros get this impression as well?

If you can afford the high spec I encourage you to get the high spec. Lots of goodies for RM15K. Don't regret like me.

Really surprise to hear CKD owner said cabin noise is low...
If compare to Civic, I felt Mazda 3 cabin noise is louder.

If this is true, then must be they done something to reduce the cabin noise for CKD. What the hell.

If not mistaken, there is one setting call ALC in your sound setting there, I believe that is the setting to control your audio volume based on the car speed.

Haha or you sell 95k to me and you get a new High spec . I go for GL because i prefer a comfortable & quiet ride with reasonable power and handling.So GL is the best choice if below 120k. High spec with low profile tyres definitely more noisy & less comfort. Yes long list of goodies but not necessary for me.
