got special attachment ar?

Yes, used it since it was newly introduced in 2011 and it was a pre-approved card as Maybank called to offer me. biggrin.gif
In addition, I really have collected a lot of points besides cash back that allow me to redeem a lot of things.
Really difficult to convert or cancel it unless it's a total rubbish in the future. biggrin.gif

Again, Maybank, please check your grammar before you publish the note!

Refresh few times or clear your cache/cookies. You will see it on Gold as well. smile.gif

Sigh adding more and more cards to my wallet. doh.gif

I don't want to cancel M2Cards due to sentimental reason but it is useless once 1st August comes. cry.gif

Will add Ikhwan and UOB soon maybe. hmm.gif

Currently owning:
1) M2Cards Plat
2) CIMB Cash Rebate Plat
3) HLB MACH (dining 5%)
4) OCBC GE Plat
5) Aeon Gold MC
6) RHB Plat
7) AmBank Plat (already approved but haven't received yet)

sweat.gif I really need to reduce some cards soon.

aeon gold and rhb plat for? PPL?
*
Yes, and actually AmBank Plat as well for PPL.
Planning to cancel one of them... Despite it is gold in colour, I might still keep the Aeon Gold. laugh.gif
Then might still cancel RHB Plat.

should restart a new topic to V14.5 biggrin.gif

topic still useful for healthy discussion but prefer a brand new topic thread (V14.5? biggrin.gif) instead of continuining V14 and mixing the discussion.

just dua sen suggestion

Nah, it's OK just stick to this. smile.gif
It will die off soon unless suddenly Maybank gives 100% cash back again. laugh.gif

this card still gives 5% cashback? only on weekends?

our 5% cashback is capped at rm50 per month right? so means this weekend i must hit 1k to max it out?
*
Still gives 5% cash back on weekends for all categories but last day is 31st July. In another word, this weekend is your last weekend to use it.
1st August still has 5% weekends cash back but only limited to dining category.

I think they have managed to fix the fraud issues. May be that's why they are confident to charge on us.
*
Hopefully else cannot argue with them anymore.

This is nuts. If the fraud occurs without any fault from our side, why must we be penalised for it? If there comes a time when my acc kena fraud and MBB asks money for my card to be replaced, I'll cancel it there and then.
*
Yes, I'll do the same too. shakehead.gif

I have always had a hard time finding restaurants that accept Amex. Hopefully the cap on processing fees will mean that more dining places will be more willing to accept Amex from now on. If not, that 5% rebate will be of little use.

If I want to travel oversea, do i need to call maybank to activate my 2 card or it's can be use overseas since the first day i got it?
*
It will be advisable to call before you go. This is to avoid your card being blocked in overseas and expensive phone bills due to roaming.
When I went to Japan, I forgot to inform Maybank and it still allowed me to swipe two times with AmEx and right after second swipe, they tried to call me to verify if those swipes were done by me. Else, they will proceed to block my card.

Is it confirmed the change for MBB dual card? Does this 5% for dining limited to weekends only ?

If this is the case, I need to find a new primary card already, any suggestions ?
*
Already published on its website since 2 weeks ago...

Yes, 5% weekend cash back will be limited to dining category only in the future.

No suggestions because you will need to start playing jigsaw puzzles now. Pieces by pieces from different credit cards.
