It is normal for petrol, it is some sort like pre-authorized amount.
It will charge the actual on your bill.

Nothing to worry about.

Anyway, Maybank will have revision soon for 5% cash rebate on weekends, it will be only for dining effective 1st August.

Already removed la since last Monday but Maybank CS and a lot of insider news already confirmed it will be for dining only.

I think I have answered this more than 10 times. laugh.gif

Loan facilities? I think credit exposure is the better word, the no. of CC you hold also affects.

Better activate to avoid card being blocked and high roaming cost if Maybank tries to call you for verification.
I forgot to call when I went to Japan, it still allowed me to use two times and right after second time, Maybank has called to verify. That was the only time I forgot to do it.

Ikhwan is Islamic banking, so technically it doesn't share the same CL as normal conventional banking.
Some said if ask them to make it both Ikhwan and MBB2Cards share the same CL will have higher chances of approval.

With the revision of MBB2Cards from 01.08, I may consider to ask them to share CL when I reapply again in October.

Earlier said 5% cashback only for dining but if you refer to MBB2Cards website now, the clause means they totally remove the cash back. So if this is true, it is a pure reward points card. laugh.gif
Anyway, let's just wait till 1st August and see what's the finalized decision.
