does tunetalk need any requirement before port out to other telco for example celcom?
like 3month usage etc.

I'm currently using celcom 1+5 sub-line. I'm thinking of moving to prepaid with long validity and also transfer the number under my name. After looking around, I think that celcom XPAX is suitable for me. Not really sure what is the best and cheapest option to do this. Should I

1. Move from subline to main under my name> move to temp telco (umobile) > move to XPAX
2. Move to temp telco (umobile) > change to my name > move to XPAX

Please also help to advice with is the best candidate for temp telco. Thanks

anyone hav idea does the Hotlink Broadband RM5 simcard support MNP to other operator?

But for sure digi is very kedekut one... no way 1gb high speed for rm18/mth... prepaid some more...

On 5th Sep, I ported my number from Digi to UM. The MNP was successful on 6th or 7th (couldn't remember which day), as according to customer service. Surprisingly, my Digi was still active at that time. I tried to insert UM simcard to another phone, and whoa... it was also active. Same number with 2 telcos. Then I found out, incoming calls from Digi will go to Digi sim while other numbers will go to UM sim.

MNP into Celcom are having problems cause Celcom changed their system to counter Ghosting.

Now no more ghosting , why you guys still want to MNP into Celcom ?

mnp from maxis to Umobile, yesterday 2.45pm do it, maxis send my comfirmation YES on 7.30pm, today 11.30 maxis send acknowledgement.

so i try use new umobile sim card in another phone, the new sim card can call and use data, but my old maxis sim card still can all also.

so i use another phone to call my number, but only maxis line ring.

then i use my umobile to call my colleague, caller ID show my current no.

any thing go wrong?

Really ? I don't remember the voicemail tells you which telco it is. It only reads out the mobile phone number before allowing you to leave your message.

Can I MNP from DiGi to an existing number(already register as a sub-line Celcom) or I have to MNP WHILE registering?

Would like to enquiry if I have a sim-card DIGI but it is register by my fren IC but he go oversea study already, I use this sim card since few years ago, contacts history and message history can prove that, anyway i can do MNP ? anyone can help this ?

1st December
~7pm - sign-up Celcom postpaid with specific number in mind

2nd December
~12am - line activated
~6pm - request port-in, paid RM10 for random Maxis Prepaid SIM pack as placeholder

3rd December
~9am - Maxis acknowledge port-in in-progress
~11am - Celcom sends SMS asking for port-out confirmation
~8pm - Maxis replaced placeholder SIM with port-in number

Despite MNP has been implemented for years, I bet most Malaysians have unsconciously associate front numbers with respective telcos, myself included

012/017- Maxis
013/019 - Celcom
016 - Digi

I also think that Malaysians regard 012, 019, 017, 013 numbers as glamourous. Others, not so.

That means your broadband number (015) can port out to other telco, am I right?
