Try switch with barret. Will make your life easier at bahamut fight as well.

With Barret, Aerith and cloud try keep far distance from each other to avoid 2 or whole team got hammered by huge aoe attack.

Trick the A.I by frequently switching members. When ATB low, do few normal attacks and switch when the boss starts heading towards you, when high ATB use some abilities or heal then few normal hits and switch. It's tiresome but it is the way to make the boss waste most of its time chasing you rather than keep pounding you.

Edit: I challenged P&J again with Tifa as main dps. I do glass cannon build, putting a fury ring on her. Damn so powerful that almost 70% of the time P&J is pressured or kneeling because it's legs are broken. But need to blast a lot of magic during leviathan to bring it down, but once staggered Tifa can punch it straight into oblivion.

I managed to complete the game (first playthrough casually on Normal mode) within 49 hours recently and i think it was quite the roller coaster ride for somebody who has played FF7 OG version on multiple play throughs.

It's a game worth playing although i'll feel abit sorry for newcomers to the series as there will be many WTF moments that are not self-explainatory unless the OG version was played.

I've completed the game not long ago. It's indeed a nostalgic revisit for me.

even myself also don't understand what actually happened at the end of the game.

After Cloud and co. crossed that light, why they still stuck in Midgar? Why suddenly there're horde of whipers appear and wreak havoc? Are those Sephiroth's remnants?

Just now I watch the cutscenes 2nd time, I realized Biggs survived, and even Zack. Does that mean this remake is about changing the future? As Aerith mentioned something like destiny's crossroad..

Play on easy to max exp and materia level.

After that u can start Hard Mode. Or beat the Secret boss first to get a very OP accessory that will made ur Hard mode battle easier

The difficulty to get gotterdammerung is too hard and time consuming. Any farmer for hire to help get the item?

train your materia to max level then super easy
I done it in 1 time, even bring the enemy skill materia to learn the final boss skill

Mind sharing what sets of materias you equipped on each character?

insert the ps4 physical disc into ps5, then download ps5 version from psn store.

ok..time to replay it the third time with better graphic , framerate and of course yuffie.
