To beat that ah gua, you can't make a single mistake as you know la.... Tifa got 2 heavy things while he don't Even he confirm make mistake at round 1. He can start with very fast speed while we need to build the speed slowly. And last thing, he wont go fatigue also because he don't have that 2 heavy <ahem> as well.

Like other forumer said, mute the sound, watch her movements. Those button sequences are different every round but I think total only 4 or 6 patterns. Try do at least 24 pull ups at round 1 for ease at round 2. The best I can do is 25 pulls at round 1.

The achievement that's killing me is dance with that gay dude Andrea. Compared to that, hell house pride joy are nothing.

Thanks, man but I usually only managed to get 21 in the first round.  Only once I've gotten 24 but he ended up winning (44-44).  Anyways, I managed to beat Jules just now (43-40).  First round I had 21 and he got 19. It was also the first time seeing him get only do 40 pull-ups in all my playthroughs.

Got some ways to go since I'm still on my first play through.  Hopefully hard mode isn't too difficult.

Compared to those games like sekiro, nioh. Hard mode at ff7 is too easy. I'll say patience is the key and need to mix with some strategy. Since mp is scarce so you will need to rely more on abilities to build stagger and heal. Cannot like normal mode few blast from weakness magic then stagger d.

My playstyle is more to slow and steady. I watched guides, learn their build and later make my own build. I even study each boss attack, need to block or evade. All these are on youtube, some of them are sooo detailed its already can say breast feeding.

Last thing is don't panic, don't get scared by when boss 1 shotted your teammate. Just relax and you will get over it.

Don't play Soulsbourne type games but will see how it goes when I attempt hard difficulty.  Are manuscripts on hard difficulty worth going for?  Just debating if I should do the side quests on my second playthrough.

Better get them all if you're going pride and joy because it brings full potential of your weapons. Since you want to do second run through might as well do the side quests for bridal costumes as well.

I managed to do hell house hard 0 damage for 1 character by watching guides. Still not able to do whole party 0 damage like those on youtube. Pride and joy itself is not hard. Most annoying  for me is leviathan because it keeps going underground and outside of map.

After I platted the game I used save editor to make all 3 party members with that end game accessory. Triple the limit, triple the fun.

I’m a little bit bored with the game. Left a few more chapters for platinum.

Might just give myself more magnify materia and gotterdammerung to power through it.

My first run on that chapter in Hard Mode I was too carried away with Aerith's magic skills, by the time I reach Colosseum only noticed I'm way lacking MPs to start, end up I restart the chapter again... lols
