I just checked on aeon credit's website regarding the spend & get prizes campaign. Apparently aeon watami is not in the list of credit cards eligibility. Anyone can confirm this before I pay my insurance premium in advance?

If you have other aeon card, use it to pay your insurance then use Watami to pay back the aeon card via posonline

2% + 1.50 deducted from amount paid. So always calculate extra 1.50 into the payment

thanks for the tips. so it'll be 4% rebate after taking into account the 2% deducted but. then only RM50 max not worth if it's a big amount

I am doing a comparison btw the old aeon credit card, new aeon credit card and aeon big credit card.

Can I confirm that only the old aeon credit card gives 1 aeon credit card points for every RM1 purchase (which we can use to convert to cash rebate?

The new aeon credit card only gives aeon member points and aeon big credit card only gives 1 aeon credit card points for every rm2 non-aeon big purchase.

In this case for insurance payment, looks like the old aeon credit card is the best?

I tried paying using UOB Vox to Watami through Posonline. But for 3 times my "Res Code (Status) : Unsuccessful Transaction".

Some more it is funny that I don't receive any prompt for TAC. Is that normal? Anybody know why my transaction is not successful?

check the expiry date when enter credit card. it should have TAC in the payment flow.
posonline cc expiry date is using unusual YYMM instead of standard MMYY.

However, AEON Credit will be converting the AEON Watami credit cards to other
credit card issued by AEON Credit from May 2016 onwards, combined with upgrading
of the credit card for enhanced Personal Identification Number (PIN) security feature.
This is based on credit card industry requirement in Malaysia for migrating from
signature to PIN as method for verifying customers for all local point of sale
transactions, to be fully implemented by 1 January 2017.

In the event that you do not wish to convert the AEON Watami credit card to another
credit card issued by AEON Credit, you may contact our Customer Care centre at
03-2719 9999 on process for termination of the credit card. For customers who accept
the conversion of the existing AEON Watami credit card, upon issuance of the new
credit card and activation of the new card, the said existing card shall be terminated.

The rm30 u need to spend within 60 days after approval with min 3x swipe of rm50

5000 reward point=rm20cashrebate.
new aeon cc:
in Aeon mall rm1=2 aeon point(with aeon member card)
other rm2=1 aeon point.

2500 aeon point=rm20 voucher.
aeon big cc:
every 10th in aeon big rm1=4xmember points
normal day in aeon big rm1=2xmember points
other rm2=1xpoint

there are additional cash rebate for petrol etc.

how point redemtion unknown.
my opinion, aeon cc not suitable for insurance payment.
