Just would like to share that, last week I had spend on Aeon at midvalley on their grocery, Aeon wellness, and also their departmental store (buy shirts).
It seems like spending on Aeon supermarket for grocery is entitle for 6% rebate. While, spending on Aeon wellness and departmental store (buy shirts etc..) is not entitle for 6% rebate.... |

Hi Guys, I would like to share about my experience of applying Public Bank Visa Signature card through RinggitPlus (2 in 1 luggage bag) using Pledge FD method.
1) You need to go to Public Bank to put your FD of RM34k 2) Stamp duty cost is NOT 0.5% of the amount of your FD, but only RM25 (I tried Public Bank OUG branch. They mention that as long as the FD and Credit Card both is under your name, then the stamp duty cost is just RM25).... Also, you can choose to put the FD for 1,2,3,4,5,6 month (or whatever month/year provided by public bank package) for the different interest rates... But it will be auto-renewal and cannot take out. If you would like to take out your FD, you need to cancel your credit card 1 month in advance (information from the branch). 3) Submit my "Ringgitplus" form hardcopy to that branch. 4) Wait for around 1 month (very long time... they said due to the stamping process takes very long time... Keep follow up to push them...) 5) finally got the credit card after 1 month++.... can use like normal, also can use for Balance Transfer (tried) as long as still have credit... 6) After around 1 weeks after my first swipe, still do not receive SMS or Ringgitplus email... Call to Public bank customer service again to push for ringgitplus code... 7) Finally after around 1 month after first swipe, got email from RinggitPlus for the unique code and get the 2-in-1 trolley luggage bags by collect from their branch directly (Ringgitplus customer service said they have stock).... Hope this post would helps those people who are interested in FD pledge method to apply for this card... This post has been edited by ahpei: Oct 27 2015, 10:17 AM |

I was told the 2nd time today by CS that bill payment (Telecommunication and TnG topup) not included in the everyswipe contest. Yesterday 3 of my 8 transactions were with TM & Maxis. Hope they are wrong.

Prev promo 12% CB has similar T&C but I din swipe for any bill payment cos I was doubting. But since someone has earned Cb on these type of transactions, I also tried it for Everyswipe Promo. And now these uncertainties.

QUOTE(MGM @ Oct 27 2015, 12:23 PM) To be frank - I don't know. And for the 6% cash back feature for this card, it is awarded for online transaction, not for bill payment. If you pay your bill online at respective service provider website (Celcom, Maxis, TM, TNB and etc), they are not counted as online transaction and earn 0% cash back. But if you use 3rd party portal (such as UOBPayOnline - as mentioned in post # 1721), they are considered as online transaction, not bill payment, and you get 6% cash back from these bills. Since paying bills through UOBPayonline is considered as online transaction, not bill payment, it should qualify for and counted towards the 3/5/8 swipes for cash back. I think I read somewhere that people get cash back from bill payment through UOBpayonline in previous cash back campaign. Regardless if they are counted - I already earn 6% cash back from these monthly bills payment. If they qualify and counted as part of the 3/5/8 swipe cash back campaign, then it will be bonus to me. If not, nothing lost since there are no extra efforts from my part (except staying up late on Sunday night to pay these bills at the very beginning of the week to ensure I'm one of those early birds). Guess will know in about 1 months time if I get the RM50 cash back. Finger crossed! |
