Please help me pick. M3200, r1280t or xm6pf? Movie, game, music and prawn. the speaker i intend to put next to my monitor but i heard it might damage the monitor? Prefer m3200 due to sleek design but most ppl recommend 1280 or xm6bt(xm6pf with Bluetooth, but i don't need bt).

Because it used wooden cabinet for sub and sat, wooden sat will sound better than Plastic sat.
Anyhow, please test both speakers before you purchase, diff people diff preference.

I'm new to this audio stuff, seems like you are very experience in this topic, can help to recommend some?

I like to hear Chinese song (those jacky cheung...faye wong type) during night, i dont like play song with loud volume, my requirement is speaker with low to mid volume which can output "CLEAR" sound of the singer (is this call vocal?), and i dont like the speaker with noisy background sound (is this call bass?), i assume majority of the subwoofer will give me "noisy sound" so my target is to a 2.0 bookshelf speaker
My current consideration is edifier R1700, r1850, r2000, may i know what is the main different on this other than the "Watt output", in term of sound quality? Is the 3 model i mention fullfill the "Hi-Fi" standard? What main different with the s1000 model as well?
In order to output the sound to the speaker above, i do need a main player "call amp?" to connect and play the song to the above mention speaker, i need usb input to play the FLAC file and also FM radio function, can you recommend good and budget amp also?

If you have budget and need USB input, i will recommend you give S880DB a try. S880DB is a High Res Audio Certify Speaker which designed to connect to computers, gaming consoles, and all types of devices.

full set should be within rm1k, is the s880db sound quality better than those r1700, r1850,and r2000? the s880db usb port can connect through a pen drive, and i dont see the FM radio function there.

Yes.

just take the S350DB, I can vouch for that speaker, infact is pretty much the same as S880DB if look at the driver they used, just with extra subwoofer.

If don't need 2.1, may be take S1000.
