Definitely can't defeat the logitech Z906 if you compare C6XD there. Overall I'd think the top end is fine but the subwoofer is going to be missing out a lot.
But if you said analog connections are okay then the R501TIII or DA5100 will be a fair comparison to Z906. At least that has a more full overall sound.

Alternatively you can opt for a standalone av receiver to connect your existing pioneer setup. At least can make full use of your old speaker instead of buying more speakers if you still have em.
Denon AVR-X250BT would be around your RM1.2k budget with both analog and digital/HDMI connection for bypass.
Definitely not a space saver setup though  sweat.gif

The thing is pioneer htib speaker got 3 ohm impedance ig. Some more the sub is passive. I fear isn't compatible with denon or onkyo entry avr.

I cannot judge the onkyo set but looking at specs alone it is quite suitable for your need in terms of "connectivity".
In terms of speakers you're getting, you might need to expect less as most of your money goes to the receiver unit. icon_rolleyes.gif

Does this onkyo set durable as I read those review stating that not a good for durability? Either wise I can choose entry level denon avr x250bt and use whatever speaker that I have.

Hi Im from EU. I am interested in buying another edifier set. I recently bought the S350DB and I'm very satisfied with it. Now I want to upgrade my living room speakers to a S70DB or perhaps the S360DB (but the S360DB will release by june in Europe.)

The S70DB costs normally 500,- EUR, but I can get it on sell for 350,- EUR. Is it worth to wait for the S360DB, or is the S70DB better for gaming, TV and movies?

For Z625, you need to compare it with S350DB.

Recommend 2.1 speakers, price at RM600-1000

Was looking at Harman/Kardon soundsticks cause they look good and sounds good.

But I ain’t pro at actually knowing if it is really that good compared to other products in the market.

soundsticks is very cool.
I love it a lot and wished I owned a unit.

but for that price really got tons of options like
Edifier S350DB for my overall yes to flexibility in connections and sound tuning
Kipsch Promedia 2.1 for bassheads (or logitech Z623 for cheaper alternative)

Go give it a test if you get to visit shops. They may not be as futuristic like soundsticks but they are more full sounding speakers that may suit your ears innocent.gif
