The DLC is about 3 to 4 hours of play time. I would say worth paying for the armor weapons and game time we are getting.

Only two main bosses and some very nice weapons. Last boss is so like Lady Maria (BB) haha but very nice fight. I believe this DLC will focus more on PVP.

Finished the game finally but died many times to last boss.

I am a strength build currently lvl 60 with
around 32 str, 30 stamina stats, 30 hp stats.
Currently I am using a raw battle axe + 6 but I feel to upgrade to a 2 handed weapons. What should I use and what gem should I infuse it with?
I am only starting to enter profaned capital

This game is about dodging attack. Of cos you are going Str built. Look for weapon that is with Str bonus. The Yhrom great machete is a great str weapon.

Open weapon info and check on stats bonus. S>A>B>C>D>E. Then you will know what gem to infuse. When I started this game, didnt really bother about infuse. Only reinforce and familiarize with the weapon attack. Some mobs are vulnerable to fire, magic etc... I will have one weapon maybe infused with fire gem.

Patience is key in this game. Slowly play and enjoy the game.

I dont think he can equip Yhrom machete though. Even he can, pretty sure he will be slow af. Since he didn't really up VIT. But I had a knight (str+vit) and yup, this machete is OP. Second to dragonslayer greataxe.

The key to wield heavy weapons is to watch out for your vitality value. You need to avoid fat rolling at all cost.
Even you have yet to hit the requirement, you still can equip it but only on dual handed mode to test out which one you prefer before committing to upgrade it.

If you are not a PvP freak, just upgrade to your heart's content otherwise play around SL120 with soft capping at level 40-50 with whatever stats of your choosing.

If you are a completionist, there are 4 endings to the game so you can respec your character to other classes on each subsequent new game plus.

Try go for Quality Build (40 STR 40 DEX, crap I had committed a sin to tell people to level dex ), the build allows you to wield most of the weapons (except mage staves and cast miracles), and infuse your preferred weapon with refined gem.

Since now not much ppl playing.... it is not that easy to get all those medals.....

I tried invasion but all lena killed.... that is fine but the issue is.... i invading the same group of host and phantom.... again and again....

And seriously wtf ppl summon 3 phantoms to play thru the game???? Is that even fun???

^must be gankers. Used dried fingers means more black phantoms and boss is harder to kill

Does anyone tried the new DLC? Review please. The double shield things look awesome though.

Currently playing and have downed two boss....so far enjoying it but there are stupid mechanics they put in the game that encourage you to sprint past the levels instead of exploring

Though certain build will struggle a bit i think in this DLC, my STR build doesnt do much damage as I hoped.

Weapon wise looks cool but havent upgraded it to see its usefulness, there are also new sets of armour which is cool esp the Ringed Knight set.

Feels a little bit short though, IMO

He was the greatest challenge I've ever faced in the souls series. In NG++++ I died countless of times, and tried various methods. Eventually I succeeded and that was with the help of a random phantom I summoned with "Pestilent Mercury" magic.
