Hi, I would like to buy Mitsubishi Electric Air Cond but noted that it has 3 types of refrigerants:-
1). R22
2). R410
3). R32

Which one should I go for in term of repairing. servicing (easy to get the spare parts), stableness(no easy to break down) and quietness(the compressor not running noisily)?

ME R32 is MS/MU-HN

Mine compressor just spoilt, 3.5 years. Waiting warranty replacement, but need to folk out huge sum of labor fee...

Hence I'm also comparing to either get multi split or individual split. My requirements would be 2x 1HP INV and 1x 1.5HP INV.

For instance, I saw Daikin MULTI SPLIT Inverter MKC series(R32) MKC50RVM that can accomodate 2 X 1HP INV + 1 X 1.5HP INV.

Panasonic pricing quite a huge jump.

Mitsubishi Electric models are better than Mitsubishi Industry series

I hate to admit this, but from experience it is true. Panasonic skew towards power savings so it is never as cold as Daikin, even when I set the setting to max on remote..its still hesitant to cool. Like, I set max fan, 17C the air con is like "you sure you want so cold meh? eh it use a lot electricity, come I slow down a bit save some energy". I am like.. eh hello, I want max cooling you give me max cooling la.

Limpeh using 2HP inverter Pana in bedroom. Based on measurement of room size & height actually 1.5HP enough. Now 2HP inverter Pana, just ngam ngam only.

Midea cheap and easy to spoil and parts? In 2015 I got MSN-09CRDN1 inverter models, 3 units used heavily because all in bedroom, until today no issues.. except workmanship not good the thing leak gas for 1 unit. Not the a/c's fault.

But best bang for the buck, HISENSE. If you want the most basic non-inverter aircon, limpeh will recommend Hisense over any Pana and any Daikin. The Japanese very expensive.

EDIT: Limpeh got Daikin, York (old cooling king good, current China mari Johnson control is rubbish), Hisense, Midea, Mitsu Electric, Pana -- love hate relationship with Pana.

Is daikin really worth the price? nowdays saw alot brand giving better spec n function with lower price. Like Haier, Hisense...

Hi guys, I just collected the key from my new condo today. FYI, I'm renting the unit to the tenant, not for self-use. I'm looking to buy 3 x Standard Non-Inverter R32 Air Conditioner for my unit.

Living Room - 2.0 HP
Master Bedroom - 1.0 HP
Bedroom 1 - 1.0 HP

I need some recommendations to get a cheap and reliable air conditioner. My main concern is the price and quality. Do you guys usually get them from big retail chain stores like Senheng and Harvey Norman? Or you guys got lobang can get a lower price online from Shopee/Lazada or from a smaller contractor company?

By the way, how are those China's brands (Haier, Midea, Hisense, Gree, CHiQ etc.) doing in the market now? Any bad reviews from the users? Thanks in advance!

The average cost difference between an inverter and a non-inverter aircon is about RM500. Why would I pay more to get an inverter aircon for my tenant? Furthermore, the cost of repair (spare parts) is higher as compared to a non-inverter aircon. Correct me if I’m wrong.

Personally, I have been using Panasonic, Daikin and Mitsubishi inverter aircon at my home for more than 10 years. They are very reliable and seldom give me problems, but the price is on the high side for these well-known brands.

I’m looking at the China aircon brands since they are cheaper, but I wouldn't know if they are reliable as I have never used them before, so I need some feedback from existing users.

I'm open to any brands or models that are cheap and reliable. You may also PM me if you know of any shops or contractors who are selling aircon in the KL area. Thanks!

Among all the China brands midea is the most reliable and important thing is the parts can easily get at malaysia. After sales service is very good too. Just find pro guy to install it will be no problems.

We have good reviews on Mitsu,Daikin and Midea here.....which one to go 

How about Acson Inverter (REINO series) and non-Inverter model?
Old house using Acson for 10 years, no problem and very cool. Not sure the model now. Looking for new house usage.

You don't need long hours to make a difference. Depending on your set temperature, it could be a huge difference.

I had my temp set to 26c. The first 2 hours is the most taxing. After that, inverter kicked in and using almost the same energy for 6hours vs 2hours.

But if you buy a non inverter, it will continuously draw say 0.6kw/hr with some cut off in between then compressor restart again at 0.6kw/h.

Of course that depends a lot on your set temp. If you're going for 22c or lower, inverter probably not going to save you much.

Hi, planning to install new aircond for apartment unit. However the wiring already make it to only install non-inverter (3 wires instead of 4). Is it still possible to make changes by adding wire to install inverter unit?
