What model? If too old, the aircon man suggest you change new aircon instead

If you’re using aircon for daily’s from 8-9pm till next day 6-7am, I suggest you go for inverter model.
Otherwise like those people install non inverter switch on when during hot weather only

Inverter benefit from less cut off power, even the temperature outside at 23c and inside was 26c room temperature.
The compressor will be running in low RPM till stop, but inside room temperature won’t effected, because the temperature always control in 26c

Because your are the non-inverter then usage for less than 6 hours per daily.
If you’re are the inverter unit, no issue for daily 6 hours or more and set on 26c good than enough.
The room size around 3x4m.

Inverter full load is noisy on day time only.
Except in night time.
Unsure your condenser unit isn’t close to window, can really hear the loud spinning jet sound.

Open the front cover remove filters to washs with tap water.
Check the fan blower got stuck with heavy mould or just minor only.
If very minimum mould on fan blower can do normal services will work.
Chemical service, except the airflow got noise something stucked.
Overhaul service with chemicals are the same, must be remove the whole fan coil and do washing on floor.

Old unit or new? If too old, the compressor high temp, meaning spoiled soon

Wanna cheap and pay highest TNB bill will do
