QUOTE(t3n @ Nov 19 2015, 11:26 AM) Is it true that inverter aircond service cost higher? Btw I just use the aircond during night time, maybe 2-3 hours and weekend around 6 hours.... Still better to fork out more money for inverter? Don't listen ppl bullshit lah. My inverter has been served me from installed till now already close to 7 yrs never service a once or change parts or refill gas at all. Just a once the wire failure after replace new wire to be works fine. Inverter just like normal Aircon, even turn on 2-3 hrs or more or whole days the bill still cut into half.

Remember inverter was variable speed, you can adjust high or low temperature as well.
Even set to 26c these was comfort too, unlike non inverter speed in raining day if set on 26c after half and hour the outdoor unit has been cut off then re-start again, for the overall might be too warm and too cold.

QUOTE(t3n @ Nov 19 2015, 11:35 AM) But temp need to set to 24 degree only? 24c not an issue, if you feel cold then set to 25c, 24c will be faster reached the pre-set and tell outdoor compressor stop work only.

QUOTE(peet @ Dec 6 2015, 05:24 PM) I am comparing between: 1) Panasonic 1.5HP Premium Inverter Deluxe CS-S13RKH-1..... RM1,858 vs 2) Hitachi RAS-SX13CD 1.5HP....... RM1,959 @ SenHeng I am leaning more towards the Hitachi because I like the Gold colour. Anyone has experience with Hitachi before? Does it last? My current Pana is more than 10 yrs old and still going strong so my confidence with Pana is strong. Get pana lah, hitachi still not ok

QUOTE(Pebbie @ Dec 8 2015, 12:29 PM) So for my room size, 1HP is enough a? Daikin really that good? Plan to buy in harvey norman because of the warranty, do they also do relocating of old aircond to living room before installing it? My living room have an empty aircond point, how can i tell what type of hose it is? Daikin with York really good, the most durable brand for Malaysian choice Especially for coolest and energy saving too

QUOTE(BOTAK_WAI @ Dec 9 2015, 07:39 AM) Just installed 1 unit Samsung 1.0hp (AR09HCFSA) and 1 unit Samsung 1.5hp (AR12HCFSB), both non-inverter R22. See how it goes. Rationally i should install Daikin/Acson/York, but perceptually i decided to give Samsung a try due to nice triangle look. The look was ok, but maintenance wise will be headache

QUOTE(BOTAK_WAI @ Dec 9 2015, 08:03 AM) yup. but that's the problem should be worried after warranty period. bought from supreme home cause they looks like a samsung store and they have their own in-house air-cond service shop, though might not help at all, haha. try first, if rosak after warranty period then consider my bad luck lo, then only consider change back to daikin/acson/york. Just 3 mths a once take out filter and wash, otherwise blocking may difficult thing

QUOTE(zero721 @ Dec 14 2015, 07:40 PM) Hi... I don't understand second phrase. Indoor 2.5hp copper were used the corrected size should be slightly bigger diameter After outdoor used slightly smaller size for the copper connected would be unsmoothly too. Anything can be check online specs
