Guys,

Am considering ceiling type a/c for my open living ground floor (combine dry kitchen, dining & lounge area), approx 800 sq ft area. Is 3 hp sufficient or I need 4 hp to cool this area?
*
Option with 2x 2hp for separation area

Thx for reply. Did think about this idea too - unfortunately, couldn't find two good spot to separate these 2 aircond for equal cooling distribution

Usually open space for single FC is inefficient.
2 FCs at least you can switch on either at dinner or living hall.

Nice, where you get it? Is it a cooling model only without heater? What's the price? Why so fast phase out already? I thought it was just launch last year?
*
Just the FC itself for 550 SGD
Yup in sg we need cooling only

hi all sifus here, im currently shopping for 1hp inverter aircond.

i was looking at MHI at the moment and try to read this thread from couples of pages back and rarely see people mention about this brand much.

there's good and bad experience for this brands and i think that is varies from users to users. but would like to know the overall rating for MHI's aircond? bit of confusing when some shops mentioned that ME is better than MHI and vice versa. hope for a feedback from the sifus here, thanks
*
MHI hasn't that best brand.. don't spoil, the parts hard to get.
Unlike ME has bigger services center here.
Just depend on your budget.

meaning the negative about MHI is the expensive spare parts.
sorry to ask but is both MHI & ME's aircond reliable? just for normal usage about 8-10hrs per day
*
But are realizable.
Just make sure that Aircon shop or service center easy to get parts for MHI.
In s'pore have to wait around 3 to 5 months for MHI parts.

I know daikin n york are from same factory.. But if want to choose between these 2.. Which one is better?
*
The previous York has sold to Daikin today.
But acson still under daikin product now.

The york.com.my all latest model today is under china oem already, no longer is under York or Daikin.

So I would suggest you go with Daikin has much safer
