QUOTE(supersound @ Oct 10 2015, 11:41 AM) Well, I only know today I need to eat, tomorrow I also need to eat. I understand! We cannot keep on comparing as there's no point for it. For me if I really want more heat removal, changing the fan would be better and install the outdoor unit will ample of space for it to suck in cool air. But due to lower the cost, we die die must accepted |

QUOTE(keyser soze @ Oct 15 2015, 08:00 PM) Not few times just around 62% at 35degC. At ambient temp 35deg C, R22 is 181.9psi, R410A is 295psi. Our R22 gas piping for 1.5hp was rated around 400psi WORKING PRESSURE. From 1hp still acceptable, 1.5hp n above better don't, maybe you have standby for pay up gas leak maintenance cost in the future too |

How come after a year didn't call for serving guy and do a maintenace for you?
Water pipe leak, due to clogging with jelly, usually they will do with tap water flushing direct or vacuum from outlet pipe will do. Can imaging the cooling coil how dusty they are. |

QUOTE(MrToper @ Oct 30 2015, 11:48 PM) The Panasonic in one of the bedrooms is starting to crap out. Installed in 2008. Don't go wrong with hitachi , is the most worst brand for AC.The swing motor is failing and making a loud clacking noise when auto swing is on and the fan has a really loud wind speed. Cooling isn't that great on 24 I'm thinking of replacing it. I'm thinking of Hitachi. Are they good? fan swing motor after 3 months the noise from motor kok kok sound. also pcb not durable than daikin. |

QUOTE(OptimusStar @ Oct 31 2015, 12:33 AM) I am thinking of a 1.5 HP inverter aircond for my bed room. Daikin inverter you should not miss out.I did a few surveys, though ME looks tempting is't kinda pricy. Considering between York, Daikin,Acson. Panasonic and Fuijiaire. Any comments which I should go for? Help appreciated. |

QUOTE(vandechrome @ Nov 2 2015, 10:43 AM) I've just installed 1.HP Panasonic inverter in my living hall last saturday. so far feel so good that the AC able to cover the entire hall of 850sqft apartment. Didn't fully insulated for the copper will be turn into dark color in future, but still work fine too.just need some clarification from experts here, since i observed that the installer left some part of the copper piping attaching to the outdoor unit not insulated (he just insulate the big pipe and left the smaller one about 2 inches without insulation). when the AC is running, it produce condensate water on the pipe. is this a normal or the pipe need to be fully insulated? one more, my compressor does produce a sound like clicking2 (similar to bird chirping sound). again, is this normal? i observed and find that the sound came from the piping connection area. my sister use the same AC brand but 2HP, as i recall, i didnt hear any weird sound from her compressor except the fan blowing the air. If can then next service and ask AC come to help up for fully insulation as well. Condensation are very common, no issue at all. The sound would be lack workmanship on bracket didn't put hard rubber on condenser leg. Due to minor vibration an issue, if your AC is a non inverter. Some inverter plus & minor also got slightly noise This post has been edited by kimsim: Nov 2 2015, 10:51 AM |
