Well, I only know today I need to eat, tomorrow I also need to eat.
We cannot keep on comparing as there's no point for it. For me if I really want more heat removal, changing the fan would be better and install the outdoor unit will ample of space for it to suck in cool air.

I understand!

But due to lower the cost, we die die must accepted

Not few times just around 62% at 35degC. At ambient temp 35deg C, R22 is 181.9psi, R410A is 295psi. Our R22 gas piping for 1.5hp was rated around 400psi WORKING PRESSURE.
*
From 1hp still acceptable, 1.5hp n above better don't, maybe you have standby for pay up gas leak maintenance cost in the future too

I already bought r410 invertor air con.
*
What u need to do with ask installer, use gas and flushing out the existing sticky r22 oil leave on copper pipes, otherwise cause with R410a may affect the cooling performance else

Hi guys, why my new air cond compressor when on running time, some time got water came out from the hole bellow the compressor?I asking the air cond installer they say it is normal for all air cond because when the compressor was cold, it will come out water?
*
Compressor runing in performance and turn into condensation.

Coke put some ice on glass will turn into condensation that is normal too

How come after a year didn't call for serving guy and do a maintenace for you?

Water pipe leak, due to clogging with jelly, usually they will do with tap water flushing direct or vacuum from outlet pipe will do.

Can imaging the cooling coil how dusty they are.

my aircond is samsung virus doctor digital inverter, the triangle shaped
last few weeks call technician to do a clean up
they say it was very hard to dissamble and clean the aircond
other type/design easy, samsung triangle shaped the hardest
i guess my plan to diy clean become dream only
*
He he something like what I mention previously.

Wanna clean out just dismantle down and 1 by 1 screw out will do, but may take you 1-1.5hrs baru can touch inside the blower

Compare to LG much easier lah.
But lg slighly expensive than Samsung wow

The Panasonic in one of the bedrooms is starting to crap out. Installed in 2008.

The swing motor is failing and making a loud clacking noise when auto swing is on and the fan has a really loud wind speed.
Cooling isn't that great on 24

I'm thinking of replacing it. I'm thinking of Hitachi. Are they good?
*
Don't go wrong with hitachi , is the most worst brand for AC.

fan swing motor after 3 months the noise from motor kok kok sound.
also pcb not durable than daikin.

I am thinking of a 1.5 HP inverter aircond for my bed room.

I did a few surveys, though ME looks tempting is't kinda pricy. Considering between York, Daikin,Acson. Panasonic and Fuijiaire.

Any comments which I should go for? Help appreciated.

Daikin inverter you should not miss out.

I bought a secondhand aircond from Mudah (2.5hp @ York) for RM1.3k. The indoor unit is fine but however the outdoor unit (compressor) is too noisy.

Can servicing the compressor fix the issue?
*
Non inverter?
How come 2.5hp just paid for 1.3k? 2nd hand unit?

I've just installed 1.HP Panasonic inverter in my living hall last saturday. so far feel so good that the AC able to cover the entire hall of 850sqft apartment.

just need some clarification from experts here, since i observed that the installer left some part of the copper piping attaching to the outdoor unit not insulated (he just insulate the big pipe and left the smaller one about 2 inches without insulation). when the AC is running, it produce condensate water on the pipe. is this a normal or the pipe need to be fully insulated?

one more, my compressor does produce a sound like clicking2 (similar to bird chirping sound). again, is this normal? i observed and find that the sound came from the piping connection area.

my sister use the same AC brand but 2HP, as i recall, i didnt hear any weird sound from her compressor except the fan blowing the air.
*
Didn't fully insulated for the copper will be turn into dark color in future, but still work fine too.

If can then next service and ask AC come to help up for fully insulation as well.

Condensation are very common, no issue at all.

The sound would be lack workmanship on bracket didn't put hard rubber on condenser leg.
Due to minor vibration an issue, if your AC is a non inverter.
Some inverter plus & minor also got slightly noise

Yes, non-inverter. And yes, as I mentioned earlier, it is a secondhand unit, York G-model.

Guys,

I just wondering if a 1.5HP inverter aircond used on 1HP inverter aircond pipe will it cause damage to the aircond?

Both copper size should be same, if you too worried and check on specs
