We cannot keep on comparing as there's no point for it. For me if I really want more heat removal, changing the fan would be better and install the outdoor unit will ample of space for it to suck in cool air.

any recommended brand or model? 1hp will do, prefer more durable, bill is not an issue as long as durable since i open it everyday

Hi guys,why my new air cond compressor when on running time,some time got water came out from the hole bellow the compressor?I asking the air cond installer they say it is normal for all air cond because when the compressor was cold, it will come out water?

This water was come out from the hole below the compressor,not true the pipe usually have water come out from the air cond when air cond was on operate.Can see bellow picture

my aircond is samsung virus doctor digital inverter, the triangle shaped
last few weeks call technician to do a clean up
they say it was very hard to dissamble and clean the aircond
other type/design easy, samsung triangle shaped the hardest
i guess my plan to diy clean become dream only

The Panasonic in one of the bedrooms is starting to crap out. Installed in 2008.

I bought a secondhand aircond from Mudah (2.5hp @ York) for RM1.3k. The indoor unit is fine but however the outdoor unit (compressor) is too noisy.

Can servicing the compressor fix the issue?

I've just installed 1.HP Panasonic inverter in my living hall last saturday. so far feel so good that the AC able to cover the entire hall of 850sqft apartment.

just need some clarification from experts here, since i observed that the installer left some part of the copper piping attaching to the outdoor unit not insulated (he just insulate the big pipe and left the smaller one about 2 inches without insulation). when the AC is running, it produce condensate water on the pipe. is this a normal or the pipe need to be fully insulated?

one more, my compressor does produce a sound like clicking2 (similar to bird chirping sound). again, is this normal? i observed and find that the sound came from the piping connection area.

my sister use the same AC brand but 2HP, as i recall, i didnt hear any weird sound from her compressor except the fan blowing the air.

Yes, non-inverter. And yes, as I mentioned earlier, it is a secondhand unit, York G-model.
