Besides which ac don't have noise. If you have broken parts, then there will be noise. I have used Samsung for close to a month. Did I complain?

i dont have any opinion on samsung and LG. both are korea brand. besides rattling noise at the indoor cover everything was fine. cooling was good. wind is strong. just the design a little hard for me to take of the cover (especially ART Cool units). and behind have lesser space to run concealed piping, quite hard and frustrating to install them.

Actually i regret going for Inverter. I'm using Daikin.

1. It take much longer time to cool down the room. Don't be surprise may even take up to hours to match same cold by non-inverter. At least for my room it is. Worst now i always full blast it but still not as cold

2. I felt it requires more regular maintenance. The Daikin i have, close to 2 yrs and i've service it 3x. Always due to not cold. But once service, it is better but months later, back to the same. Whereas the rest of my house aircond unit non-inverter, some service once in 3 yrs but still much more cold then my Daikin

3. In terms of saving (electric), seriously no different. Weekdays usually clock 8-9 hrs and weekend easily 16-18 hrs.
Sometimes i felt it is kind of contradicting. We install aircond is because we can't stand the heat. When we switch on the aircon, we wanted it to cool as quickly as possible. By having inverter kind of defeat the purpose since it take much longer time to cool.

So i think those who emphasis alot on cold, better stay away from Inverter. Like cherroy mentioned, A full blast inverter, its electricity consumption is similar to non-inverter.

Somehow i kind of convince that with fixed low speed blower + low speed home fan, i might get cheaper electricity then full blast inverter. So here i'm shopping for new non-inverter aircond and i'm slap with new issue. Gas piping.

As my pipe is "old" pipe, those like time National brand era, and if newer aircond use different gas and required me to change pipe, i'm goner.       

Yes, one of the room used to have panasonic but 1 ye plus kong already. Replaced it with Toshiba. So far so good

I have a old Daikin 2.0hp. Cover made of steel. My dad purchase long time ago where he works for Daikin. Lasted 23 years and still working fine. Hehe..

TXSim Nope,  I ask around most doesn't have mounted aircon with less than 70cm width for the indoor.
Small Room with windows just around 70cm width between the edge.

Really hope anyone can suggest a mounted air con with less than 70cm width like mini air con.

Better pick a quality AC instead of choosing the cheapest. Try to look for sharp inverters. I'm using them and they don't cost a bomb!

The fan of the outdoor unit is not working properly. It spin quite slowly and seems like it hit something.

Yes, noise present. It was a Super Multi NX. It will go into protection mode eventually.

Desperately looking for a skilled tehnician, a technician I found yesterday can't fix the issue. The fan looks wobbly when spinning too.

I have not. I don't thin my unit is still covered under warranty.

I am looking over the broucher of mitsubishi from website and found out that Inverter vs Non-inverter AC system:-
1. Non-Inverter AC have bigger airflow.
2. Inverter AC have smaller airflow.
