Lizards often stay behind the indoor aircon unit. Is this unavoidable? Not scared of lizards but wondering if it's safe or not

Just hire pest control bro… settle all
Rapidkill worked damn well for me.

The TCL.. I can compare with a standard Hisense 1.5hp .. indoor only ya. The outdoor probably can’t hear anything since it’s on the AC ledge outside the living room in condo.

What parameters you wanna know? If max blower and power, sure blower got noise. Or you’re curious about any weird / out of ordinary noise.
*
i only care about indoor sound

1. blower volume
2. any weird noise, high pitch, hum etc.

silent to me is like mitsubishi higher end model with 16 decibels silent mode. mitsubishi problem is expensive and after some time makes odd noise.
hitachi silent mode also great but had high pitch sound (old model, not sure about now). i really love hitachi if didnt have high pitch coz after years it never made any other odd sound like rattling.

samsung blower is loud to me.
gree is borderline quiet, not quiet enough.

i only talk about most silent volume. i dont care about 'super cold'

It's not safe. The lizards will crawl onto the PCB and get electrocuted, and then the a/cond may not work or you will have bad odors. I've had to repair a few circuit boards already where this has happened.

There's another new player in the market. Might just get it if features and price are right.

Wow ok , how to prevent this? There will always be a gap between the indoor aircon unit with the wall where it's mounted at right?

Yes and at night it always makes the sounds. But i think lizard still okay because it can help eat insects and pests right?

I always try to avoid lizard from coming into my house which literally only 1~2 ekor tiny one will slip in.

Only recently there's one sneaked in and really like to go behind my new LG AC =.=
Now i wanna try to catch it and halau it out.

Keep hearing "tsk tsk tsk"

I normally just block the bottom door there as well as windows using mosquito net

Always knock the door before open / close to chase away the lizard which normally love to climb in straight when we open the door.

But like cannot totally prevent it at all to come into the house XD
They always like to test your limit.

I remembered one time my parent house AC got one stucked inside and dead, gg the smell when turn on AC.

Yea, luckily not inner part, just need to "pull" it out and doesn't really affect the AC performance.
