Hi, need some feedback on AC replacement. Been using a hitachi AC for ten year and it break down and I changed it to panasonic 1.5hp. After 8 years, it board give problem and I changed it a secondhand board. Now into it ten year and the blower making noise. My AC man told me it time to replace it during my last service. I usually operate it at 27 and the compressor always switch on and off cycle. If I put it at 26 - it so cold.The power monitor show it use 1280w. Since my cooling requirement is not much. I thinking of switching to inverter 1hp to cool at 27. The most I use will be 25-27. Which model do you recommend?

That would be a lot undersized, you're talking about a 20'x20' and 20'x10' area populated with more than 2 persons and hot food..

Use the 60btu/ft2 and 600 btu/person (additional of 2 person in the initial estimate per room) ..

9,000 btu/hr cooling capacity to 1 HP.. It's a good rule of thumb..

i have few panasonic inverter + R410 , 2 of the 2HP one use after few week , keep water leaking underneath it.

i wash the filter but not much of dust on that ...i wonder is it the setting i choice.

closed area will be better coz can save more electricity and more cooling than open area..if open area need to on aircond for a long time to make the area cool.

Actually I plan to go for 2.0, but they said Daikin is good in cooling so don't need to take the 2.0hp. Since my lobby also not that big.
