Hi all, this is my first time buying airconds for my new house and I am thinking to get 1.0 and 1.5HP from either LG, Panasonic, or Hitachi. Any recommendation from you guys?

Not sure what air cond option to choose, need some advise.

Living hall - 400sqft -> 2.5hp? initially planing to get mitsubishi ceiling cassette.
Dining hall - ~ 200 sqft -> 1.5HP, thinking of getting either gree/sharp both around 1k rm in lazada.
Master bedroom ~ 200 sqft -> 1.5HP, thinking of getting either gree/sharp both around 1k rm in lazada.
Bedroom 2 - 110 sqft -> 1 Hp, thinking of getting gree cause really cheap only 500+.

All of the above are R410a without inverter. Cause find not worth the extra bucks for inverter and also wanted it cheap for initial cost.

but my problem is my living and dining is like a L shape without wall / partition.
so 2hp seems not sufficient. so technicall i have a open area from living and dining + kitchen of about 600 sqft with 1.5 at dining and 2hp in living is sufficient?

It's for the bed room,

Weekday, should be 6 to 8 hours.

Weekend, should be 10 to 12 hours

My house need to do installation from living room to backyard which is not standard installation as you buy from air con package less than 10 ft length. A lot hacking and conceal need to do and normal installer won't entertain you and is not you like or not like.

Need your all recommendation on the air conditioning.

1. Bedroom Size = 19ft X 20 ft = 380 sft
2. Usage Pattern = 1 Hour (730pm - 830pm)
                        = 2~3 hours (10pm  -  1am)
                        = 2 Hours (Additional Usage/Day)

My priority are cost saving & durability of the aircond itself.

Appreciate if you guys could help give recommendation on brand/model.

I had a chat with a support tech for my problem with electronics failure (see my posts on the previous page) and he suggested getting a non-inverter instead. After some searching online it seems like inverter air cons have a higher failure rate because of insects/geckos shorting out the electronics.

agreed, those problems can be solved when you clean it every week or call for the foreman to service and deeply cleaning for your aircon. For me, i will call them to check every half year and normally i will ask them to check, clean and adding gas.

Inverter is just helping you save electrical consumption to reduce your bill. Btw i am quite curious on how they rank the aircon for 5 stars or 4 stars or whatever?

Yes. Spoiled my aircond sensor after servicing. Claimed it was because difference in temp before and after servicing.
