ah i see. thanks thanks  rclxms.gif

but based on the models/series i chose, which is actually the better choice to buy?
if its you  biggrin.gif

also how about the after sales service like? which is cheaper to service? parts easier to find?
*
actually both are equally good in terms of quality, reliability, service, parts..

i have both panasonic and daikin, but daikin is very-slightly quieter.. though panasonic doesn't really bother me much.. it is not like a big-bang-loud-sounds.. so actually nothing much to worry..

so if u ask me.. i will go for cheaper price for this both brands (for the same spec)..

the models that i chose from the 2 brands are same spec, right?
sorry im very noobish about all these haha
*
correction:
daikin FTK15QV1L = 1.5hp (not 1.0hp)
daikin FTK10QV1L = 1.0hp (not 1.5hp)

anyway, both model.. more of less the same tech..

I am also considering both brands.

By the way, is it ok to buy from Ladaza (without installation) ? I noted the discount is more than the official store, but without installation.

Would it be troubling to get good installation done?
*
Most important is to check who fulfil the deal, no worry to get your known source of installer..

Hi, may I know if I replace my aircon (which was installed 6 years ago, repair cost is not worth it), do I need to replace the pipings too? I am going for same HP, same non-inverter. I am planning to change from Mitsubishi to Daikin.
*
yes, u can re-use back, unless leaking spotted?

hey guys what's the cheapest aircond out there in the market. I have a tiny guest room that I would like to install one into but it doesn't need a powerful cc
*
a good fan is more than sufficient to cool a tiny room i guess?

Standard price now RM180.

Refill gas is bullshit.

It is just checking the pressure only.
*
also quoted rm80 for basic cleaning.. so what do u think they will do with just rm80?

RM80 is useless. You can do that cleaning everymonth.

Just go for RM180 for once every 2yrs or 1yrs if usage is high.
*
lol.. tq for ur view on this matter..

Look expensive.

Price shouldn't different with the gas. Aircon with any gas have no different for service.

Gas is option if require top up.
*
how it should works for gas refill? isn't it needed to be filled in on each service? chemical wash will dismantle the whole AC unit..

dismantle?
totally removing the indoor unit from the wall?

that will cause more harm in the long run.

anyway.........even if they  dismantle there is a trick to no refill gas. they can use the compressor like a vacuum to seal the gas back into the compressor. yes in the long run if done many times will harm the compressor also. after cleaning mount back, vacuum and release gas from compressor.

i will never trust any aircon service that dismantle whole indoor unit for "service".
and i will not trust any aircon man that release gas directly into the atmosphere.
*
Yah, that was what said deep detailed chemical wash.

as what mentioned by ozak at post #5916, indoor unit should be taken down to wash.. wonder how it can harm (the unit or compressor) in long run?

feedback from usual AC guys, nowadays newer AC unit the coil is too thin, and so not recommended anymore to perform chemical wash.. he now only use heat-stim to wash the coil. unless the dirts are super stubborn then no choice to use mild chemical, but usually heat stim is more than good enough.. what's ur view?

Eh?

Probably rubbish to scam you money.

I use a pressure washer from karcher to wash also no problem.
