We've been singing that in our Sunday service.

Along with others songs such as the creed by Hillsong as well.

we're trying to balance up New Songs plus old ones n maybe hymns once in awhile.

I always wanted to experience Hillsong worship experience 6-7 years ago. Now I get to do that in our Church.

I just ignore the crowd, the hype, the Hillsong ish music and everything and just worship God. It's really exuberating because God answered my "this" prayer. He knows my desire to be in crowds of multitude lifting our hands in a hillsong-ish atmosphere.

ha ha.

My church is abit traditional type where by only praise and worship session only about 30 mins or less, followed by chairperson prayer then scripture reading, sermon, offertory(hymn), Doxology, announcement, closing hymn, benediction by Service pastor and end with three fold Amen hymn

30 Min is pretty standard, even mine is 30 minutes. We don't practice liturgist in my church. We flow with the Spirit as He leads.

Many times worshiping in tongues in between worship. At times we speak in tongues awaiting God to speak through one of the worshipers.

We emphasize a lot in being lead by the HS.

Then we have sermon, then sometime benediction then announcement then finish.

Actually I don't like candy. Well, most candy laugh.gif I get jelak really fast. A piece or two is fine but after that I find myself struggling to eat. Not like my friend. She can makan an entire bag of gummy bears.

My area now predominantly Muslim so definitely no Candy Day anyway sad.gif

For me, the fun would come from the collection itself. What strange candy they have in store. What new brands I've never seen before ect ect.

Heh my family kept saying they must visit Europe before the ISIS take over.

Honestly, it's putting a lot of anxiety into me because I'm going to marry an European. I always feel like I'm fated to have a horrible life in the future, as if it's my fate.

Why? Because I have a quiet life all the while. Easy in comparison compared to other people. If peace is a crime I am guilty.

Like, sure my life will suck later to repay for my good fortune.

It feels like my future husband sure get drafted to war like WW2. Things like that...

Your family does have humor. ISIS wont be taking over any superpower at the moment since Russia basically destroyed them few weeks back.

What i can say is live life to the fullest and dont get negative when it is not happening.

Nervous about my exam (TOEFL) tomorrow though.

Still uncertain you belong to God and Heaven?

QUOTE
Ezekiel 34:31 NIV - You are my sheep, the sheep of my pasture, and I am your God, declares the Sovereign LORD

Some years ago, even though I have accepted the Lord in the 90's, because I have backslided in the early 2000's because of family persecution, I lived a life
that has caused me to be uncertain of my Salvation. Even when I came back to the Lord with fire in my heart after that few years, there was still this uncertainty that caused me to doubt.

I was searching for an answer and God send this RHEMA verse to me.

Ezekiel 34:31 NIV - You are my sheep, the sheep of my pasture, and I am your God, declares the Sovereign LORD

Oh how comforting it is to hear God himself assuring me of my doubt and uncertainty.

I AM HIS sheep, the sheep of HIS PASTURE! And He is my GOD!

Some pastors preached that when you have doubt, it caused God to distance himself from you. I find that not to be true.
When you come to God even in doubt, He will answer you! He will never leave you nor forsake you. We NEED to come to God especially in times of failure and disappointment and not run away from Church.

Those who like me are uncertain about their own salvation, I encourage you to take a look at this verse and digest it in your heart. Perhaps you once been to Church and you have heard the gospel message but you fell away, perhaps you ran away even...know that God is still looking for you, not willing to lose you.

I'm a classic example for those who have fallen away and yet is an example of God's GRACE.

Let me explain what it means. In the Christian circle, it has been taught, only when you get all your act all together and correct then God will hear you and answer your prayer.

But that is not what the Bible teach.

See this bible verse with your heart open without any prejudice.

Romans 4:5 - However, to the one who does not work but trusts God who justifies the ungodly, their faith is credited as righteousness.

Do you see the word "the ungodly" there? Do you know what it means in context? If only you knew this truth, it will empower you "the ungodly" to stay close with God. When you dare come close to God, chains will be broken loose!

Yes you see it right and you heard it right. God justify the Ungodly not the Godly. So if you think you have fallen away and belongs to the ungodly camp, you are in the right company!

I never trusted my works or effort in trying to please God. Never. Because I know I'm not consistent. I never trusted my obedience as a way to get God's favor. NEVER! because that is not what the Bible teaches under the New Covenant. I trust completely in what is said in Romans 4:5. And because of that, God in his grace brought forth Ezekiel 34:31 to those who are willing to trust completely in God and not in their self or their own efforts.

You will see and understand this is consistent throughout the New Covenant. Under the Old, Yes you need to depend on your effort as justification but no more under the New. Why Because God has declare

"The Righteous shall live by Faith". Faith in a God who will deliver, Faith in a God who heals and Love. Faith that brings glory to God.

Today, You are my sheep, the sheep of my pasture, and I am your God, declares the Sovereign LORD!

God Bless.
