While I was living overseas I was a member of the Calvary Baptist church there, but now that I'm back in JB i'm looking for potential churches to attend (ideally with a youth focus). Where do you go to?

Actually Bible never says drinking beer is sin. Just that allowing anything to control you would be wrong.

Beer. I like stout. But, I can only drink like 1 can before the bitterness overwhelms me.

It's nothing wrong really. They just drink 1 or 2 glass, that's it.

Nobody got drunk, Nobody was embarrassed or harassed. European people really like to drink.

If I'm not mistaken their beer can is as cheap as soft drink.

ps: I'm not encouraging drinking. Just saying if you are already drinking as a Christian, don't go on a guilt trip and condemn yourself. If you want to stop by all means stop.

Yup, very cheap. Lol. Even in Hong Kong the beer price the same as carbonated drinks.

Shandy is all right. Not much of the bitter taste. I only drink to give face so to speak other than that i dont. Sometimes i do drink (very rare) but cocktails or mocktails. Can never understand how people like it

But whatever it may be, the way out of it is to keep on receiving abundance of God's Grace.
