Unlimited Golden lounge access & perhaps exclusivity due to it is one of the only two World Elite Mastercard available in Malaysia.

The annual 150k bonus miles limit is a serious let down for high spenders. At the moment I waiting for CIMB getting to me on this.

Yes, the capped definitely a turn off.

I believe you don't need to. Need to double check on this though.
*
I believe for Enrich World no need to fly with Malaysia Airlines, just flash the card and u're good to go.

Applied online yesterday for PETRONAS MasterCard. Today receive call for verification (surprise for CIMB efficiency!).

cs inform will issue combo card (together with CB platinum. Both card share credit limit). Since no AF for both, just keep it.

The thing attract me for PETRONAS MasterCard is the 10% for Perodua service. Any one use this benefit before?
*
This applicable only on participated Perodua Service Centre, not all.

Online Purchase of Caring Voucher

Caring Pharmacy Voucher can be purchased at this website.

For CIMB Cash Rebate Platinum MasterCard, can this online purchase be considered as an online transaction (under POSMODE 81) which gives us 5% cash back?

I am considering in getting this card for pharmacy transactions, since I am not qualified for Public Bank Visa Signature Card. blush.gif

Just got CIMB Platinum, CIMB Platinum Petronas, CIMB Platinum Cash Rebate. All MasterCard.

CIMB Platinum Generic Card
RM1 = 1 point

CIMB Petronas MasterCard
7% cash ebate if Statement Balance RM3000 & above
5% cash rebate if Statement Balance below RM3000
0.2% unlimited cash rebate for other retails transaction

CIMB Cash Rebate MasterCard
5% cash rebate online spending
2% groc, utilities, petrol, bill
0.2% other retail

*** QUESTION IS ***

for CIMB Petronas, i need to spend at least rm3000 with that credit card to get the 7% rebate?

for CIMB Cash Rebate, i buy at Tesco, will get 2% or 0.2%
what kinda of retails which entitle 0.2% rebate? clothes? shoes?

for all 3 card, the annual fee waived without any rules right? (at least RM50 swipe)
but the banker told me even annual fee waived, still got RM50 gst fee for each card, true?
fee applied after card activated or no matter activated or not still fee applied?

Tesco should be 2%.
Yes, out of groceries and online will be 0.2%.

At least I know CIMB CR has no AF. So there is nothing for you to waive. You don't spend then you don't need to pay.
Ask the banker to continue dreaming. laugh.gif Government Service Tax has been abolished for all cards once Goods and Services Tax came effect on 1st April, so no more RM 50.

Cimb offered me the card few weeks back..but AF of rm1288 is too much and AF for 1st year is not waived..so I turned down the offer.stick to maybank premier cards for better miles convertion rate.

Well, I have not applied for this card yet. It is good that someone has tried it before and gained the 5% cashback. Otherwise, there is no issue and I would not apply for this card.

There is no point in applying for the card that I will not use. smile.gif

It is due to cross borders charges, CIMB has this.
Never use CIMB cards for Apple products purchases.

Extra paying for RM33.59, you may take note on next time for oversea transaction

Since cannot claim back but you still get cash back for RM30 (5%) + RM7.27 (0.2%) = RM 37.27

Where goes the 0.2% comes from?

This is not UOB VOX that offers two rebates.
