Lol. Same complaints everywhere. Just go to maxis Facebook visitor page. U will see all sorts of complaints there.
All depends on location. If the place u normally go have good coverage , go for that telco instead.
Don't give stupid complaints like only one 4g signal bar yet still wanna do speedtest.

Perhaps he is right. Maxis caters for higher income people. It's easier to make money from rich people rather than poor people.

Also those who intend to buy iPhones may get highly subsidized phone but with higher monthly commitment.

Very good business strategy indeed

Not really. I'm a Maxis IPhone user myself and I find their plans the most costly of all. Only thing that made me keep going back to them is because of their superior 4G network. But I may reconsider again this round.

I also using celcom this RM38 First basic package and I had a same issue with Celcom where no service in Enterprise 4 at TPM and Internet connection is only E at Setia Walk. And always receive sms notify me that I have missed calls.

My phone is showing "No service" now and my colleagues also having the same issue now.

Last year, I had an issue with 3G connection at Setia walk and I walked to the Blue Cube center at Setiawalk to ask why the connection is so bad. The staff replied that the network booster is broken and under maintenance at that area but until now the connection at Setiawalk is still really bad. I even called to the center and the technician said my setting is not correct and need to reset. I said why I have no issue when outside of setiawalk and no service at setiawalk. After the new setting which sent from the Celcom technician, the connection also still very bad.

I hope Celcom can see this message and do something about this to enhance their network not only widest, please make it strongest network also. smile.gif Thanks.

Sigh, before all complain why call drop off and alll, first analyze ur situation.

Check if your dbm is below -100. Anything above that may cause call drop.

How far is ur nearest tower ? Download with open signal and see.

Where are u located ? Higher than 10 floor or landed ? Both location can cause u to have call drop. Why ? If landed, surrounded by buildings which may cause issue.if higher floor, becuase ur signal tower can only point so much.



Get a mobile booster and see if that fixed.


Btw don't trust your phone bar, always look at ur dbm and asu.

Thanks for your advice. But I have no issue with Maxis. Why i port over because of the Maxis plan is too expensive.

I was at ground floor at Setia walk (Puchong) and Internet line was E only. Even in my landed house, the internet also E sometimes.

My office is located at 4th floor only and not other higher building that cover or block this area. If you say it cover by building and it will drop but why I go out from the building and everything is fine? And problem is, why it only happen few day at once and normally it was fine. It is frustrated if there is no service when I need to use the Internet. Now, once i switch on the mobile data, the line will drop. If no mobile data, then the line is fine.

If you said the signal tower is too far away, and this is thing that they need to enhance which add more signal tower to make it stronger.

well it's might get worse.

with huge numbers of port in from Maxis, the network would become even more congested. thus more dropped calls & lower speed blush.gif

Yeah, I see it's stated on printed bill of Celcom postpaid before the First postpaid plan age when RM50 monthly plan was there.
I don't know what actually mean.

I MNP to Digi. so far so good. I'm happy with their service

I am facing the exact same issue but in Setapak area. Having problems to connect to their 3G network as well. Got stuck with 2G but no service.

my friend called Celcom CS. they said something about ongoing network modernizing, so intermittent connection is to be expected
