Choosing this mode means you won't be able to enjoy LTE signal if you are in coverage.

QUOTE(wkyrichie @ Jun 25 2015, 01:38 PM)
Better than having a LTE signal which doesn't work and slower than normal 3G.. hahaha
*
It will be wise to set to 3G only mode if LTE isn't very good at the area you are using, for example at my housing area LTE is pretty bad and it connects for few seconds and then reverts back to 3G. This way, the phone will also consume more battery since it is switching back and forth as it will always be "hunting" for LTE signal.

Network is pretty bad especially after the introduction of First Basic 38 plan, give Celcom a little more time and hopefully they can resolve this.

No but I know there are rare cases that it happens. If so, usually it can be resolved by going to your bank's ATM, unregister your mobile phone number and register it again.

Already MNP'ed to Basic 38 from umobile since yesterday. Activation was fast enough, speed is ok lah (but Digi had slight advantage) in my area. Definitely worth it. biggrin.gif

Well I got it fixed. thumbup.gif

Actually Maybank did. What happens was apparently during the porting from Umobile to Celcom something went wrong and it was done uncompleted. Call AmBank, Public Bank and RHB all told me they can't do anything. Well they actually asked me to use cards from different bank. sweat.gif Celcom confirmed shortcode messages are allowed. I ended up calling Maybank just then and they acknowledged and assisted with whatever failed during the porting process. I can now received TAC from all banks. Thank you Maybank.

Anyone getting weird billing with Celcom? This is so sick. Went to Blue Cube, the staff don't understand. I thought I tried online chat, but same result. All freaking don't understand and I just lodge cfm complaint.

I registered on 26/4 and billing was on 7/5. Then I use until 6/6 and cancel which become the 2nd billing.

On my first bill, I was charged RM38, and another prorated RM15.20 which both staff and online chat failed to understand. Then I was charged another RM38 on 7/6.

Even when I switched to explaining, they still don't understand. Even if both month charge me full RM40.30 x2 plus stamp fee also only RM90.60 only. But I have paid RM40.30 advance plus another RM66.40 just now. How hard is it to understand?

At the moment, Celcom's 3G is much more stable compared to their 4G.

Can't agree more, just go for the network that serves you best for the areas you frequently visit or stay.

Maxis. But they are offering limited Data, UNLIMITED SMS and CALLS..

Who on earth needs unlimited SMS and CALLS these days?

Just so difficult for me to justify to support them.
