Hi guy, I wanna to inquiry regarding the Cerato vehicle got provide warranty of windscreen tinted. Previously purchase this vehicle include Raytech windows tinted. And previously got claim for warranty of change the behind windscreen tinted due to wrinkle tinted issued.

But the skill of remove the old windscreen tinted is extremely poor and been damaged windows heater (behind windscreen). Walk in and check with Kia teams, but seems like not responsible for this warranty. And walk in back to Raytech and mentioned to me there is a risk of damaged of linebar of windows heater. If in this case, how should we do? Then not need to do anything about this wrinkle tinted issued?

Kindly advice me and this will give me learn something for it.

Just got my new Cerato 1.6sx, wanting to put tint(3m/llumar) and coating. Any shop recommendation around klang valley. Fickle minded because was told to be careful with the rear window anthena lines.

Also thinking of getting leather seats as well..

You claim the rear tinted warranty from whom? Raytech or Kia?
If Raytech, you should able to get back to them for shoddy workmanship.
I don't think Kia would do anything, since tinted is not under their responsibility.

First time it's wrinkle, then Raytech mentioned that there is a high risk possible will damage the antenna signal/linebar heater.

If replace to new tinted will damage my accessories, then not need do replacement? Hell during reverse sometimes experience wrinkle tinted can't see clearly behind. Scare kena hit by other vehicles.

2nd time replace tinted already, then another issued out it's affected radio signal will cause experience unable to receive radio channels. Drive to Raytech Johor Bahru, shitty service don't peduli me already. Give their service several chances to improve, but seems like "the chances is too good to them".

Any idea how to report to government side there regarding this matter? For example like telco complaint still not satisfaction, need to write report to MCMC.

Maybe try contacting Raytech HQ first? (not sure where) see how they can help. Ensure you understand the fine print of their service first.
If cannot, I guess Tribunal Pengguna might be you best chance

Yes, the last chance is contact to Raytech HQ. If their service still like this "I don't care", I guess it's time to collect data and submit to government side.
If you are mention Tribunal Pengguna, then it must be KPDNKK government. Am I right?
I though this only applicable for complain for those online such as Lazada, 11street.

Just checking if the coated soft plastic of floor console faded / teared off, any solution other than changing new one (cost around RM350), example paint spray service?

The quality of this type of material very bad, as it becomes sticky as exposed to hot sun.

Yes, it is possible to re-paint the surface, but the cost will also be somewhere near the price that you mention when you change to new one. 350 to change to a new center console is cheap.

Any way of changing all the glossy black parts on Cerato FL console, dash and steering to carbon?

I wonder if new Cerato floor console fits into old Cerato, I can see how Kia try to addressing this issue by changing the gear level cover to wider and grossy finished to new model, added additonal phone slot to reduce the soft plastic surface from being exposed to hot sun.

I really don't like the glossy black finish... looks tacky, shows up dust easily and attracts scratches...

Comparing to prev gen, it is damn sticky and gross if it is "melted".

I know... wish they had done some sporty carbon fibre type or wood finish instead...
