hmm...normally wat range of IP do u get?

for my place, the normal IP is 219.95, which is, IMO one of the most horrible range for WoW. 218 IP is very rare, i've to use the dial-up loop script to get 218 ip, sometimes it loops for 6-8 hours oni get 218 ip

cut stories short...the onli range which i can get good connection is with 219.94.*,* range....the others sux big time....even 218 series....or 60 series...ive gotten most all types...n none works....i agree with u that 219.95 is far most the worst ip.

at the moment i play with my connection....alwiz dc n reconnect until i get 219.94.....but the report at tmnet is still open....once they solved that problem then onli ill close that report. so lets see wat they do for me.

omg suddenly i'm gettin 24kms latency on 218.208.* IP... what is going on here?

i got my latency like 1k++ - 4k these few days by using 218.111 and 142.82 and 60.53.. usually my ping will be like 400k to 500k... sux tmnut

anyone having this problem where u get disconnected suddenly and went back to que?

this happen to me after those recent stupid streamyx "upgrade"..

its like i cant cast anything suddenly while still being able to see actions taken by others and after awhile i get the disconnection. After that i get stuck in "connected" screen for 3-4 minutes and then only get back to the character selection screen. and if theres a que going on i would have to wait for the que first.

it gets so frustrating coz it happen twice on me today (sunday) right before a boss fight. and the que is like 300

the other is that later the ip thing will not be a problem anymore bcoz tmnet will balanced all the ip
no matter u r at 60.50,218,219 or anything it'll be the same speed
if u got high latency when playing at 60.50,
then later u'll get lower latency
this is a good news

dammit... the lag killed me 8 times at stonetalon...

sometimes i got that too, I though is WoW server issue. Streamyx problem ka! ALamak!

But I am on Malganis server damn FULL, sometime log in que is 600++

I played WoW till a few months back, when my connection, for some reason, started giving me 5000+ ping (it can jump to crazy 21,000 in large raid instances like MC, BWL, etc). It wasn't an issue initially, then it started with me being unable to do BWL. Then it slowly got worse over a period of about a month, after which my connection became so terrible even normal playing was impossible (5000-7000 ping sucks big time ).

I was thinking of replaying, but I'm still worried about my connection. My friends told me to get a 215 or 218 IP, but my ZTE modem (the streamyx one) was set by my friend to auto-connect when I turn on my comp, forcing me to turn the modem on and off to reconnect. There may be a better way out there, but at the moment I'm not sure how. Restarting the modem is rather time consuming, and reconnecting like say, 10 times, can take almost one hour.

Any ideas how to help out with my problem? By the way I stay in SS18, if that is any help (maybe SS18 has connection problems or something, not sure....)

I don't know how your friend set it to auto connect but this is generally what I know. Go to Start > Run then type msconfig and hit Enter. Search for your ISP name(Streamyx) and uncheck it on Services or Startup tab.

Follow the instructions provided and you are set. Bear in mind that certain IP is not available depending on what time you connect. 218.111.xxx.xxx will be only available for me at 12pm-2pm or 9pm-12pm

Router for the phone? Are you sure it is a router or it is a DSL filter?

Erm how do you tell the difference? Anyway its needed fro the phoneline, so I'm guessing its a router. If I directly plug the phone line to my modem, my house phone can't be used...
