My office connection to LA:



My home one doesn't even go to 50kbps... And they are both the same 60.52.xxx.xxx

That y , my connection in USJ subang with 60.52 ip very good <600ms in wow, dunno y ur 60.52 so bad.

I retract my statement, got home from office... logged in...

298ms ZOMG!!!!!! Did TMnet do something right? I was on 1k-2k yesterday!

Bah, I don't know what they did again. Woke up this morning to get this:



*sigh* time to blast another TMnet CS person...

when i play WoW..i always getting 1k-5k ping...even more
man...is that means we malaysians cannot play WoW comfortably?
sigh...

the above testing can't determine the real speed in wow , i did a test , i got only 20++ for download and 200++ for upload. however my connection in wow still <500ms , so don't brother about it.

To play wow in malaysia using tmsuck streamyx , u need to logon to a good ip . Those ip u can refer to my previous post.
Although i can get <500ms latency , playing melee char in wow still a big disadvantage to us compare with those player in USA with <30ms latency.
The conclusion is no matter what, we only can experience partial comfortable playing experience in wow with our current state of broadband.

hmm... one of my employees is an ex-streamyx installer...

I got him to come over and have a look... and he just changed a "port" in the telecommunications room in the condo I live in.

After a modem reboot... 250ms-400ms... so far its holding out

i get 218 ip in Ipoh and my ping is around 350-450.. when it get bad only get to max 600-700.. other ip gives me 1000+ ping.. so 218 is the best ^^

as long as you can a 218.xxx ip, wow will be around 280 - 500+- unless tmnutz is pissing on the equip again.
a certain range of 219.94.xxx ip works fine. the rest sucks as bad. I once got a record high of 32k ping using 219.xxx

my router kept dc'ing and cant get 218.111 anymore
tried calling them then my fon line also out
check'd my handfon to call streamyx.... out of kredit ...

Playing on Taiwan server is much better then on US servers. I get 150-280ms usually

sometimes it makes me think those 218ish ips are sooo damn elusive, i regretted turning off my computer :/

Hi people...

those of you who plays WOW....pls make a complain regarding about your IP.

Ive made a huge complain about IP....explaning to them i can onli play WOW with IP ranging from 219.94.*.*....and other IP i get bad connection. They actually keep calling me to get more information. I think if the more of us call them and give them same explanation, i think they will eventually solve this problem.

so do make a report on this matter. hope it can be solved.
