Textbooks are good enough for study. And photocopied versions are illegal.

Anyway, on exam day, you will see many young aspirants reading home-printed Schweser Quicksheets outside the exam hall. doh.gif

In Malaysia, there are two institutions offering tuition for the CFA program, Kasturi and Noesis Ex Ed. You should be able to google up their websites. smile.gif

Thanks fino_abama, what I actually want to do is have a look at the study materials before I decide if I want to take the exams in december. Know where I can maybe have a sit down with the books before I purchase it? I mean like is there a library I can go to and study the materials without having to buy it or enroll?

I believe that the libraries of Kasturi and Noesis will have a copy of it. Can ask for permission to have a look. Other libraries, I'm not too sure.

Another Alternative is to get them off cheap from the Level 1 candidates if you know any.

Don't waste your time with the CFAI textbooks. Go with other publications such as Schweser or Elan. And yea, the stuff can be downloaded online, albeit illegal.

Depends on a lot of factors. Are u working? Is ur working hours long? Any commitments to family or gf/bf? Ur math and logical thinking (no need to be pro in math, just need basic algebra)? U have to give some info b4 we can give our input

Would it be advisable to take CFA after my CPA?

I feel that CPA is a relatively useless qualification but then again, I need to be a certified accountant to go further in my career.

I am currently doing an Australian degree in Accounting & Finance.

I'm not going for auditing, I'm planning to focus my career in finance.

If you're not going for Auditing, why bother with CPA?
